Purchased a 3/4 inch version a week ago and used it today. Used it to pull an armored Xterra (Gen 1) out of snow. The road is a dirt trail when it’s not covered in snow, with a decent grade. The Xterra dug into the snowpack while recovering another vehicle, becoming stuck as well. The method that worked was letting out a foot or two of slack, then hit the gas and jerk the stuck rig out of the mess. Once the stuck rig started to move, the rope did its thing and finished pulling it out. Worked great and glad I got it when I did. FWIW, I was using my Xterra (Gen 2) to do the pulling.

We used this stretchy rope to really good effect on the recent VSCC Hereford trial where we pulled out by snatch over 35 cars from very difficult positions. The rope did a fantastic job of enabling a snatch recovery without any damage to either our Defender or the vintage vehicles we were extracting. I will buy another.
