**Q: how small will it compact down too?**
A: Not as small as you would think,  like the dimensions of a folded tarp, but a little thicker.

**Q: what is the pack weight?**
A: I bought this last year for emergency use, i put it on my kitchen scale and it weight 706g / 1lb 8.875oz in it's original package.

**Q: How do i set the tent up? Does it have to be hanged on a tree or something?**
A: You need to set the tent between two trees and run the guide line thru the tent to each tree or you can use treking poles / branches and guide line them to the ground after putting tention on the rope going thru tent I hope this helps you out you can also see demos on a frame tent set ups and tarp on youtube
