What's great is that the instructions provided won't work on many doors, but they are are so flexible to install, that you can find a way to make them work in just minutes. Door trim size, door trim type (metal or wood), door clearance, ... are all different on every door. I had to mount them completely differently on each door, but as they are well engineered you can find a way to make them work as promised. The planning was just holding them up, flipping pieces around, finding a non binding and secure mounting point, and fire the screws in. What's as good is that my family is not good at figuring things out, and these work flawlessly - kick it down and it locks securely with a loud click, kick the release and it pops up with the same loud click to allow opening, and all with you foot.All in, unpacking, glancing at website instructions on my phone, planning my installation for each door and drilling or self taping screws in, took me about 30 minutes and that's for 2 doors.
