This is so well made. And bonus, no drill holes in the walls. Beautifully sanded wood, no splinters or misdirected screw holes. Good directions. Easy to assemble with the included allen wrench (the only tool you need). Heavy duty canvas supported by two wooden dowels (not one inch of plastic in this product, yay!). Bought this one because at 17 inches wide it fit the 18 inch window I wanted it to go in. Easy installation. Just don't lose any of the screws or washers because there aren't any extras included. Monty, the Tuxedo started jumping into this window a short time ago, but the windowsill is not wide enough for a comfortable experience. The bottom of the window is almost 4 feet off the ground, so the scratching of the back nails to haul himself up was becoming an issue. He tried to jump into this perch while I was installing it! Little Finnegan, who is only about 7 months old, doesn't get to use it as often, but it does hold both of them, no wobbles, no problems. I have the window seats that hang from the windows from suction cups, but the frames are plastic and easily come undone and when it is really cold out the suction cups give up the ghost and the whole thing falls off the windows. They loved those but haven't used them since getting this window seat. I will probably be buying more.

Very easy to assemble and mount, took maybe 10 minutes. Nice quality construction too. But, when I hung it on my window the bottom piece of trim on the window (apparently called a "stool") was bending a lot with just me pushing down on it. Even though our cat is smaller (10 lbs) I felt that it might not hold her without the trim strip breaking. The trim strip is pine and pretty minimal, like 1"x1" square profile. I think if the stool was an inch deeper or made of oak it would have been fine. Rather than re-engineer something (add backing strip to trim or drive some more nails) I decided to return this and get a free-standing low perch to put on the floor in front of the window instead.

Sturdy and easy to install. You must measure your window because some long baseboards may not work. Not good for a car install. Cat loves it!

I’ve held off on getting one. Most window cat beds have suction cups for the windows, this one does not. Easy to assemble, sturdy, and hangs directly to the window frame with our very odd window sills without issue. A small cat and a couple very large cats made it impossible to have just one! Ordered two! Because it clips into the window frame, the window can be opened or closed without becoming dislodged. Blinds up, people! They love warming in the sun and bird watching! Beds can easily be removed for washing and are made of heavy durable cotton/canvas fabric. I will be hangin them to dry for worry they may shrink in the dryer. Definitely worth the purchase.

The product itself is of quality and sturdy. A little bit of a hassle putting it together, you really have to pay attention and look at the details. My only gripe, is that it doesn’t work for every windowsill. My window track is raised above the windowsill and the perch doesn’t sit properly, causing it to fall when the cats jump on it. I recommend that you only get this if your windowsill is flush with your window track. We have two Mini Schnauzers who love to stretch across the bed at night. One weighs 10 lbs and the other weighs 13 lbs. I figured I would give it a try since they’re not much bigger than a cat. They love them. We fold a blanket to lay on the “hammock” and they curl up and go right to sleep. We remove them during the day and hang at night. Easy assembly and sturdy enough for the dogs. Might give you some space in the bed back! Definitely worth a good nights sleep.

The cat has zero interest in this and I have had it longer than thirty days. I also had to adapt this to fit the windowsill. I needed to add stabilization to the “arms” and I also had to shorten the lower supports in order to get it to fit. It is sturdy and well made. Be aware that it doesn’t fit all window sills. Mine are wider than six inches and there is also molding underneath that needed to be accommodated. However, ultimately it is a fail as the cat has totally ignored it. There are no suction cups.

my cat always liked to chill on top of my bed frame to look out the window and this just allows her to do it with much more space. beware your cats will love it soo much that will be their new spot. it was super easy to set up and is extremely stable, i havent had a real problem with it (ive had it around 4 months) only thing i will say is i bought a new one and i could clearly tell it had been used as it has some other cats fur and some pieces were already put together. also the hook in the back is flat so truthfully it doesnt grip the best but if you want it to hug around something i put a screw in it so it would be nice and snug (second pic) so if you happen to run into that problem thats my pointer :)

An mein Fenster geht es nicht. Die Fensterbank ist wohl zu tief. Wobei ich sie ganz normal finde. Aber ich wollte es für ans Bett hängen. Und das ging super.
