I'm 71 years old and not as spry or bendable as once was. This table is sturdy, attractive and well designed. It looks and works just as depicted on Amazon. Packaging was strong enough to fight back from normal FedEx shipping processes. 'A' grade.I had 3 issues assembling - all age related. First was getting the 64 pound box into the house. Second was installing the last 2 legs. Either the directions are wrong OR I simply assembled them incorrectly. After a few minutes, decided to disassemble and swap parts between the 2 sides and issue resolved. Third was assembling the top to the spring brackets. Instructions say to install brackets to top first. But I had no help so opted to do the opposite. I got it. 'A' grade all the way!All holes for everything were perfectly aligned and of proper size. Used a handheld screwdriver and even at my age and arthritic hands, was able to screw them in comfortably. The person(s) that designed the assembly process should be rewarded quite honestly. Bags of hardware were mostly labeled and all wood pieces were labeled. Nicely done! 'A' grade.Instructions were just OK. Pages were not in order but may be because there are two versions so the bottom shelf can be at 2 different heights. I give these a 'C' grade.Hope this review helps some folks not used to assembling their furniture. Again, Kudos to people who design for do it yourselfers and to the manufacturing company that kept the tolerances to design!

For as cheap as this was I wasn't expecting much but I couldn't be happier. Very high quality, looks nice, and was not that difficult to assemble. Granted I have put together plenty of this stuff before but it only took about an hour and I did it with no help. I was expecting it to arrive damaged but to my surprise it was packaged very well even had corner guards on the top edges. Wasn't a single mark on it. Only suggestion would be for the legs there are a total of 8 holes, 4 are used and 4 are not. They give you wood colored stickers to put over top of the 4 unused holes which leaves the other holes exposed. Just send 8 stickers so there are no exposed screws.

I love my new coffee table. My mom got it for me for my birthday. I have been using it about 2 weeks. I lift the top up and down about a dozen times a day.I chose the white and it goes well with the room. The lift brakes are easy to use but if you don't pull up from the center they can twist some and I'm sure you could break it that way if you aren't careful. I would say the over all sturdiness is pretty good but because it's not solid wood it's much lighter but also would be easier to break. The surface is stated as waterproof but in my experience furniture made like this will bubble on the surface with to much moisture so we are using coasters.I was thinking the too would come over my lap more when opened. Because it is a coffee table, not a desk you can't really pull it closer as then you wouldn't have any where to put your feet, so I would keep that in mind when intending to use it as an eating table or desk.I love that it is high enough for my Roomba to go under it.All in all I love it!

I assembled this myself in about an hour and a half. The manual doesn't have words but if you don't rush it and look at the details of the pictures you will have no trouble building it. It's a sturdy and beautiful table. The only thing I'm not a fan of is that when rising the table top, it doesn't rise straight together. You have to use both hands on both ends to get it to come up together otherwise one side may rise a little more than the other side, giving it a wobbly feeling even tho that's just how the table is. Great table to eat on and play games on. My games and books are stored nicely and it's overall great quality.

I was in need of a smaller coffee table and liked the idea of the lift top function. This table fit the bill. There is storage inside and is good quality. Be careful when lowering the top, take your time, it can come down fast.

The product is good and sturdy. Has good storage. A little complex to assemble.

Product was shipped fast and arrived in pretty good condition....a 2" chip on one of the legs, but not visible when assembled. Assembly was straight forward and relatively easy...only tool needed is a Phillips screwdriver. The product looks good, but it's not sturdy enough for a house with kids.....the lift mechanism does the job if care is taken while raising and lowering the top, but I wouldn't say it's designed for frequent ups and downs. It's a bit flimsy while raised.....great as a work surface if you're just using a laptop or writing but it's probably not strong enough to use as a table for meals. I'll wait to see about the durability of this item....I'll take care when raising and lowering the top, and I'll be very careful regarding spills....I'm not sure how this unit will stand up to liquid. Overall, it's a $100.00 piece of furniture. It's worth the money if you don't expect more.

I got this on sale and it looks like it’s so much more expensive than it is! I love the hidden compartment so I can get rid of work and hide it away under the lid. However, putting it together alone was a nightmare! Do yourself a favour and get someone to help and definitely use a drill! There are so many LONG screws and using a screwdriver is NOT FUN! The lid part definitely requires 2 people - you can do it alone because I did but it was the most frustrating thing in the world.

es algo cansado de armar solo pero no tomo más de dos horas y quedó increíble. buen diseño, buenos materiales e instrucciones casi perfectas, solo hay que ir haciendo los pasos poniendo mucha atención.
