Great for Vintage Audio Repair
If you work on a lot of vintage audio like Marantz 22xx, Pioneer SX-xxx, Sansui, etc., you'll for sure want this to handle the wire wraps.

Good product, be aware to have a separate stripping tool.
Need to strip wire before use with a different tool. The wire wrapping was fine.

Simple useful tool
I have used wire-wrap construction for electronic prototyping for many years. This means 30awg wire and the sort of connector pins you see on ESP32 dev boards. I remember wire-wrap with heavier gauge wire was popular in consumer audio gear of the 70s and 80s, but never tried it myself. Recently however I have started repairing/renovating some vintage reel to reel tape decks from the 80s... so I occasionally need to wirewrap with 22awg wire. This tool came up in a search and it certainly fits the bill. It is a plastic handle with a metal shaft that has two holes on the end. The smaller hole is for the 20 or 22awg wire you wish to connect and the larger hole is for the pin or whatever you want to wrap the wire around. Couldn't be easier. I have found it hard to get neat wraps where the coils are close together but I think that is just a matter of developing your own technique. I am very happy with the tool and the price was fair. Recommended. Packaging was simple baggie.

Good for some things but not for circuit board wire wrap
This wire wrap tool is not suitable for wire wrapping headers that have a 2.54mm spacing. The tool has a semi-circle cross section which according to my caliper and my experience is 3mm. If you don't trust this review check out the provided video and see how splayed the wires have to be for it to be useful. May be great for some applications but not circuit board work.

Great Wire Wrap tool
This tool is excellent for doing wire wraps on electronic circuits. The wraps are tight and clean and are done with ease. I use this to wrap terminals in a Pioneer receiver that I was repairing, and it did the job perfectly!

Works as well as the expensive ones
Needed a wire wrap tool for a project restoring an old hifi receiver and this one worked well. Buy a tool for the correct gauge wire though if you are looking for one. There is no one size fits all here.

Great tool, does the job very well.
Great tool, does the job very well. A bit tick for my liking, cannot be used with 2.24 pitch connectors. If you wish to use them for the breakout board connectors, go for the 28-30 AWG tool instead.

False advertising
Works great as a wrap tool. As per some of the other reviews, this done not unwrap as advertised. You actually need a different head for unwrapping, so not sure how they thought they could combine this into one head, it definitely does not unwrap. False advertising and not worth the money.
