EVOC Pro Road Bike Bag Black, One Size

Had to ship my bike from Florida to Oregon & then back home. I have a road bike that I only had to twist my aero bars a little to fit otherwise nothing else had to be moved! I was super happy as I am not a bike mechanic & this was pretty easy. It helps the first few times to have 2 people when trying to slide the sticks down (we used a hammer to lightly tap) while person at bottom tried to open/guide the stick past plastic liner at bottom. It definitely got easier as bag was used more. I used pool noodles, towels & bubble wrap to protect my bike during shipping & then tossed in a few other items to fill space (helmet, water bottles, shoes, etc..) til I got close to 50 lb weight limit for airline requirements. Was a breeze to wheel around (easier than any of my regular luggage) & just pop the front wheel on/off at airline counter. Easy breezy...

I’m retracting my initial review. Found the instructions for TSA lock. I do have to say that the assembly instructions are a little difficult to read but luckily there is a QR code that you can scan to get a digital copy. Overall it’s a nice case. My bike fits perfectly. Just a heads up. Measure the width of your handle bars. IMO it’s easier to maneuver with the handle bars. The single wheel is convenient if you’re going a long distance with a smooth surface

This bike bag is nice, but it's way too big. I returned it for the EVOC bike bag pro.Pros:I can have the bike in and out of it wholly disassembled or built in less than 15 minutes. I have a 56cm Tarmac and only have to take the wheels and pedals off. (Pro I take off same + handlebars)It is highly sturdy and much sturdier than the bike bag pro; it could take bags stacked on top of it and thrown around much better.I like the wheels inside the bag as they are better protected than the Pro.It rolls very easily and is easy to transport through the airport; my kids can do it. (It's the same as Pro.)Cons:It's gigantic, much larger than the Pro. It does not fit inside our Suburban unless it's on its side, which does not work when traveling with family members. It barely fits in the back of our rented minivan with the rear seats folded down. It requires a truck to transport or travel alone.You have to remove the fiberglass rods that hold the case up EVERY TIME to remove and reinstall the bike. It takes some getting used to.There are no storage pockets inside for miscellaneous stuff like the Pro. I had to set my pump, tools, and lube in a separate bag to bounce around in the case.Verdict:I returned it for the bike bag pro and sacrificed some time and durability. The Pro fits inside our large SUV just fine. I would use this case if I traveled alone, but that's about it.

It was perfect for my bike. I was able to travel overseas and back without it being damaged!

Some feedback about this bag:It's built like a tank. I especially like the top protection. Also nice that they include wheel bags and protection for your handlebars.There are 5 different length strips that need to be inserted on each side of the bag. The strips aren't labeled so it's difficult to tell which one goes where. EVOC should number the strips and the holes so that it is easy to match them up.I purchased this bag so that I could avoid disassembling my aero bars or saddle. It turns out, even though this bag is massive, it can't accomodate my bike with aero bars and saddle intact. I'm a 6 foot rider and I ride a triathlon bike frame size 56.

Light and very easy to wheel around the airport. Quick to load bike. Takes 5 minutes after figuring it out the first time.

This is the best because it fits on all planes and you do not have to strip down your bike!

First, great bag. organizes well, holds the bike steady and easy to pack. Problem, its exterior H/L/W is 5 inches over UPS allowable for regular freight. Have to ship oversized and they don't exactly treat that size of box well. Lots of damage to the bag, and unfortunately contents. On a pane no issues. But you cant send it via a shipper....
