Have had this box for several years now. It is a game changer if you do any catering or large-scale cooking. I've used it several times when cooking hotdogs/hamburgers for 300+ people. It allowed for cooking a couple of hours ahead of time and serving hot food. The slots on the inside hold plenty of catering pans or trays. I use the inside of the box to store my smoking/grilling gear when not in use. Probably my most underrated "tool" for cooking...highly recommend.

So much to like about this great tool. I can’t say enough. 25 years in professional cooking and I love the innovation of this thermal carrier. It’s even recyclable! For my catering it keeps my food piping hot and protects the cold food. When we go camping, I throw ice in a hotel pan. Then, I use it as a fridge! So convenient. This product is so light, it is easy to carry even full of food. I paid $178 in 2023. You will use the heck out of this if you feed people, no doubt!

If you cater, or simply carry foods to the family dinner on Sunday, this is a must have!!!! I’ve seen similar food boxes sell for 2-3 times the price of this one. It’s much lighter weight than the commercial ones, and holds food piping hot for hours!!!! Fits 6 full, or 12 half pans!!! 5 stars for sure!!!

If you do parties, cook a lot of food, or in the restaurant business, this is a must have to keep your food warm or cold. It’s a one hand carry when empty and easy to carry with someone when full. Groove lines and indents makes it stackable to save space. The locking mechanism allows for you the secure the door tightly. And over all, is well worth the money.

Price is a little high but performance is top notch. I am a new caterer and rent space in the kitchen of a soon to retire caterer that has the traditional food carrier models. I find those to be bulky and super heavy on their own, much more when loaded with food. Wanting a simpler (business) model, I opted for these and have had great results. As long as the food is hot when put in and the door stays closed, the food temperature will keep for 8+ hours. Because of the material, I placed a very very hot pan in once that melted a piece of the sliding track but I can prevent that. Overall, with good care and proper handling of the food, I am very happy with the decision to take this one over the super heavy traditional ones. I just need to figure out what Lids to use because foil crinkles up.

I use this for resting smoked meats before carving. For Thanksgiving last year, the box kept the turkeys and ham hot enough to properly rest. After carving, I put the meat back in to hold until serving time and it worked perfectly. I will buy again if I need another this size, I may even get a smaller one to use for transport.

These Cambros are a game changer. We have several of the heavy ones and over time, the door warp and therefor don't seal in the heat well. We have been using these for over two years and wouldn't go back to the heavy ones again. I have tested them several times and they keep food hot (and out of the danger zone) for over 4 hours. Plus the cost is less than half of the heavy ones. Getting ready to order 2 more.

We have six of these and use them for events. Holds hot temperature better than advertised (never have used them for cold) Stack well. Lightweight when empty. Need a dolly to transport fully loaded.
