Flawed logic when the text gets political
The book obviously prefers a certain political party and even has an endorsement for a specific politician. Just couldn't resist doing that I guess. As if politics, in our current world of free will mentality, would resemble anything like politics in a world where determinism is understood and widely accepted. I liked most of the book, although it was somewhat repetitve, but the political talk was a put-off, simple and not fully thought out. Since we are all programmed with modern ideologies that we unwillingly and often mistakenly gravitate to, we can only attempt to imagine any specifics of what life would be like in a completely different world, where determinism and no free will is widely understood. But it certainly wouldn't resemble left or right politics as we currently know it to be.Update: Increasing from 3 to 4 stars since the rest of the content in the book is very helpful for beginners.
