These Actually Work
Great quality, (unlike the 3 other brands I tried from Amazon). They maintain a seal, hold a ton of stuff and if you pack and stack them right, probably do meet the claim of storage space savings. The big downside is the lack of size variety. I watched this product for several months to see if variety of sizes improved. It did not. I hope this does not mean they were bought out by some some company that will substitute cheap Chinese quality.

Finally the vacuum storage bags I've been looking for!
I really like the concept, but I've wasted enough time and money on other brands that I almost gave up. Almost every bag I purchased sprung a leak on its own or did not survive more than 2-3 unpack/repack sessions. I've always wondered why they had not made the plastic just a little bit thicker which would have seemed to solve a majority of the problems I was having. Vacwel did just this with their bags and the increased durability has made all the difference. Durability: Excellent so far (after 1 month). I've repacked a few of the bags already and have not developed any leaks. The plastic seems thick enough that the creases formed when under vacuum seal will not split or damage the plastic as I've experienced with previous brands, but only time will tell. Size Options: Travel - Have not had a chance to test these yet due to COVID, but they seem promising once I return to traveling for work. The size is perfect for fitting into my small carry-on luggage and will give me more room to pack sweaters and/or jackets when winter comes. Medium - Perfect size for fitting into plastic storage bins for those extra sensitive long term storage items you may want the added protection for (may be overkill). Large and Jumbo - Both sizes I use for packing seasonal clothes, pillows and blankets. The Jumbo could easily fit a queen comforter. The Large size also stacks nicely into larger plastic bins. Jumbo XXL - Great for the extra large items that are bulky but lighter (pillows, blankets, comforters, etc), these bags could get heavy if you filled them with clothes. I used this size to pack up a thick king size comforter and duvet for the summer (not needed for Florida summers). Another Jumbo XXL bag was able to hold 2 king size pillows and 4 decorative pillows (2 medium and 2 small). Customer Service: While I've only contacted them to register my purchase for warranty, they were very friendly, personable and responsive. From what I can see in other reviews, it sounds like this would be the case if any problems arise as well but I can't speak to that directly. I wish Vacwel offered some "cube" shaped bags as well; this shape is better for stacking on shelves or in tighter compact spaces where the flat bags do not fit. I used to use this shape all the time for packing seasonal clothes and storing them on my closet shelves. If they add these to the product line down the road I would definitely purchase!

Mainly positive review
I got the XXL bags mainly for jackets or blankets. The first bag I used had 3 coats and the suction held well until the next day when the contents were loose and not as tightly packed. I removed 1 coat thinking it was too bulky but the next day it was loose/inflating again. I used another bag and it's been great, no issues. I'm thinking it's only that one bag thats faulty; I have yet to use the remaining 2 bags. I ended up using the faulty bag for a thin comforter. It's "ok" but you can tell the suction is not holding; I could not see any rips or hear any air leaks. Otherwise I'd still recommend the product because despite the faulty bag not holding the suction well it does cut reduce the size of the comforter and it still makes it easy to store in a closet.

SO DURABLE I CAN REUSE AGAIN AND AGAIN!
FEEL FREE TO READ ON - BUT SHORT VERSION? JUST BUY THEM - THEY ARE THE BEST VACUUM BAGS EVER MADE! NEVER LEAK AND THE QUALITY ALLOWS THEM TO BE USED AGAIN AND AGAIN! I‘m amazed at the durability of these! I’ve used them for long term storage of items and 8 months later? NO LEAKS - all of them look just like they did the day I packed them! While I didn’t buy them to be used repeatedly for travel or a move, I ended up using them in that capacity a lot! I had to have a few minor surgeries over the span of 9 months. As my retired parents know my husband’s a wonderful caretaker, they also know he’s a very busy financial planner/advisor! When they wanted me to come stay, thought that was a wonderful idea! Then realized I’m so particular about my bedding I’d have to take queen size bedding with me! I thought I’d use a few of these to test them out! While I don’t believe this size is advertised for big bedding items, I decided to see what they could hold. I took king size pillows, queen size sheets, duvet covers, and more to my parents house and these held up without a problem! When packing clothing, I do turn items with zippers, metal snaps, etc inside out so it’s not rubbing the plastic! But, that’s really as “careful” as I was! One bag held a pair of NorthFace snow pants, down jacket and fleece jacket, then a thick Patagonia jacket, oversized sweats, a fuzzy scarf, gloves, and 2 warm hats! These bags went with me on 3 separate stays - being packed to go, unpacked, then repacked, and unpacked again at home each time! None ever leaked and were as easy to pack the last time as they were the first! My mom ordered some after seeing how durable they were! I was reorganizing my linen closet with no plans to use vacuum storage bags as ALL the name brand storage bags have disappointed me! Each leaked within a few weeks to a couple of months? Even if they had worked, the plastic used isn’t strong enough for more than 1 use! But, a friend’s said she used this brand and loved them, so I bought the small size to try! The thick plastic allowed me to “shape” items as I suctioned the air out. I fit a king size coverlet in 1 bag and and a king size protective mattress pad in another. I was easily able to shape them to fit into 13” square baskets! After those were on the highest shelf, it cleared up almost 2 of the more easily accessible shelves! I’m now ordering the larger sizes for large duvets, European pillows, etc! I happened to find some cute coordinating baskets and bins on sale, 2 hold those king size items. I’d planned to use all of them to “hide” the vacuum bag items, but I wasn’t planning on being able to fit so much in just 2! So, I’ve put my bed linens and towels in the others. Apparently this is a popular thing since my 25 year old niece said my linen closet is becoming “Pinterest worthy” - haha!

Made it possible to fit our son's dorm room stuff into one vehicle!
Pros: I purchased the 3-pack XXL (which included a medium-sized bonus bag) to pack up my son's dorm room at the end of the school year and they worked great. I had absolutely no issues with holes, punctures, leaking, or vacuum-sealing. I used the dorm suite's vacuum cleaner and it took no more than a minute or two to suction down each bag. I was able to fit a three-inch foam twin XL mattress and lots of towels and wash cloths in one bag, and tons of clothes and jackets in the other bags. It was a two-day drive home and all the bags stayed fully vacuumed. Whereas it took two vehicles to take all of his stuff to college, because of these bags, it only took one vehicle to bring everything home. Woohoo! Cons: None. Tips: Because other reviewers mentioned the possibility of puncturing the bags, I took two precautions. First, I made sure anything with a zipper or other sharp/hard edge (e.g. buttons) was facing inward (i.e., away from the bag sides) or wrapped in a towel. Second, I placed each bag in an XL heavy-duty garbage bag immediately after vacuum sealing. This made it easier to carry the vacuumed bags to the SUV and re-arrange them without stressing, snagging, or puncturing them. Conclusion: I highly recommend these bags. They're made of a thick, durable plastic, easy to use, and work exactly as advertised.

These hold the vacuum well
This was my second purchase of these vacuum storage bags. I was so pleased with the quality thickness of the bags and the fact that they collapsed so well under the vacuum. After packing a blanket in one of the bags, vacuuming the air out and sealing it, I opened the bag and allowed it to expand normally. Then I vacuum sealed it again to see if it would hold the vacuum after being opened and resealed. It worked great, so I ordered another box of bags to complete my storage project. Good quality, good price point, fast delivery. Update: it’s been a week since my original review. We’re moving, so I have a lot of pillows, linens and blankets to pack. After utilizing the first two boxes of bags, I stored them cardboard mover’s boxes and ordered another box of the vacuum bags. After filling a couple of the bags and creating the vacuum, I went to add them to the mover’s box. I was disappointed to find that out of 20 bags, four had re-inflated. I suctioned them again successfully and within another 24 hours they had failed again. I couldn’t locate any leaks, and the fact that they compressed so well when suctioned tells me they aren’t holding suction. I followed the instructions and was careful not to overfill or have the items extend over the limit line designated on the bags. I have invested in 30 bags overall. Because of time limitations with this move, I didn’t return them or make a complaint because at least my items are in a sealed bag and will stay clean in the move. I think the material the bag is made of is brittle and gets microscopic cracks when the suction is maximized. What a shame; I was so excited for this product. I will add that these worked better than the two different widely known brands carried at Wal-Mart, just not 100%, but closer to 80%. That’s very disappointing considering the premium price of these bags.

Saved My Storage Space — And My Sanity
After making the rookie mistake of buying a more expensive brand of vacuum storage bags that immediately ripped (shoutout to my poor feather bed that barely survived), I grabbed this variety pack — and WOW. Total game changer. These bags are sturdy, seal like a dream, and have significantly shrunk my mountain of blankets, outdoor pillows, and random linens into neat little space-saving pancakes. Bonus: my beloved vintage wool blanket collection is now officially safe from the hungry moth army that was definitely plotting a buffet. And the feather bed? It went from taking over my entire closet to comfortably squished into a tiny corner. I practically feel like a professional organizer now. Great quality, solid price, and zero rips. Highly recommend — especially if you’ve got storage space issues or a questionable addiction to vintage blankets like I do.

Better than the rest!
I have a lot of linens and bedding that need to be stored, so after years of buying the "as seen on tv" brands and cheapo discount store vacuum seal bags I decided to give these a try. So far so good! I've only had one bag out of the 20 or so lose suction, and I'm pretty sure that's because I packed it a bit too full. So don't do that! You can see in my picture that the one I goofed up is on the bottom of the pile, but I also had some of the older brand I resealed but it's losing the compression already. They work like most of them do, you put things in it but only up to the fill line and vacuum it flat. I love the variety of sizes too, and overall the price will be worth it to me as long as these have good longevity. On a side note, the XXL is SO big, make sure you have room to store it! I was able to fit a queen sized 3 inch memory foam topper in one, but use it more as a storage bag cause that thing doesn't want to flatten again!

Leaky Seal
The bags did not seal properly and therefore could not keep the contents compressed

A revelation!
We've been having an end-of-year sort out and all those spare blankets and duvets that were taking up masses of space are now condensed down to a fraction of their size. I feel like I have battled the cupboards and WON! That aside, these are super easy to use and definitely high quality. Price was good too. So, if you want to feel in control once again, tool up with some of these and commence battle with your cupboards. They are the perfect ammo and all you need. Highly recommended!
