This one is sleek and well-designed. It holds less water than the old clunky-style fountains, but it is more than adequate and easier to move after it’s filled because it isn’t so heavy. A few drawbacks: If the power goes out, the small amount of water that is in the top tray drains into the main bowl pretty quickly, leaving no access to water for my cat. So I always leave a regular bowl of water out as a backup. Also, I clean and dry this every day. There are a few nooks and crannies that are challenging to get completely dry. I actually have two of these, one to run during the day, and another to run at night. My cat loves these fountains.
