End to end the top part of the belt is 6 ft , 6inches. You would have to measure how much lenght you need, accounting for your child sitting in the seat with about 5 inches to spare to tighten and secure. Side to side the total lenght is 6 feet. One other thing to conside is that it is one single unit, and you would need to take it out almost completely before transfer.
