El Yucateco Black Label Reserve Habanero Hot Sauce, Smoky Chile Habanero Flavor, 4 oz Bottles (Pack of 6)

This is a favorite of ours. I love the heat, it’s spicey, but I find it less intense than the green habanero sauce, but still has a respectable kick to it. It has a Smokey flavor, which I adore. It’s great on breakfast burritos, in burrito bowls, mixed with ketchup and served with fries. I even add a few dashes to my guacamole. It’s a good value, especially when you buy it in bulk. It’s high quality it’s has an overall great flavor profile. Winner winner!

Being a chili head, hot freak or (what have you) for most of my life, I’ve sampled most concoctions. This one is very different. It is made with smoked habañero peppers. My first thought was that it would be another heat bomb designed for pain. It is quite the opposite! The best smoke flavor I’ve ever tasted in a hot sauce. Perfect vinegar balance. This should get a 6 star rating! It is good on almost everything, but try on a nice steak, flame grilled. Un -believable! On a cheese and onion enchilada! Amazing. I’ve made an aïoli dip for fries and tots using this sauce with Japanese Kewpie mayo. Actually, sandwiches are brought up multiple times using this instead of typical mustard-based condiments. This product is pure gold for the tastebuds.

Our favorite hot sauce. Don't let "habanero" fool you. Yes, it is spicy hot, but it's not a "sweet" habanero, rather a deep, smoky, almost leathery sauce. We keep our pantry stocked.

Dark and VERY spicy. Great with Mexican food, and with many other dishes.

This is my #1 go to hot sauce. It is hot, but it has almost a sweet flavor with it (so good). How it does this without sugar is a mystery (it must be the peppers used). Another nice thing is there is no vinegar in it at all (just flavor). The vinegar taste is not missed (they almost all have it) I want peppers not vinegar. It is not as hot as the green (salsa verde) from El Yucateco, another great sauce. It is black which is weird but once you taste it the color means nothing. It goes great with cheese or anything that has cheese on it (think pizza). I use it on everything (including vegetables) spot on. You won't be disappointed (I would get the 6 pack it is a great deal)

Great pack for gifts. The smoky black label to you don’t see too much at restaurants. Great sauce.
