Been running this HOOVO 3S in my 1/10 and 1/12 scale rigs and it’s been solid. Good punch off the line, stays consistent all the way through the pack, and gives me a solid 25–30 minutes of hard bashing depending on terrain. Battery stays cool even when I’m pushing it, and the discharge rate feels legit — no sag, no weak spots. XT60 connectors came tight and clean, no sloppy soldering like you sometimes get with cheaper packs. I’ve cycled it a dozen times now and voltage stays balanced on the charger. No puffing, no weird cells, nothing sketchy. For the price, it’s a great value. Definitely getting a couple more to rotate through on bash days.

Love these batteries! Have 4 of these now and a 6s battery of theirs. Awesome run time in my Kraton 6s and no issues.

Great Battery at a great price

Bought these Aug 17 2021 for my first 1/8 scale and first 6s rig (Kraton V5). I have cycled the batteries maybe 10 times. I always balance charge and always storage charge. I charged my batteries last night for a run this after noon Jan 5 2022. All cells 4.2v in both batteries last night. This morning 3 out of the 6 total cells were reading 4.12-4.16v. Balanced and charged batteries again. All cells 4.2v. I ran the truck 5 minutes and it went into LVC. Cycled ESC off/on. With light throttle I drove for another 3 minutes and hit LVC again. I checked batteries and there was a .20v difference between a couple of the cells. The video attached is the individual cell voltage of each battery. The batteries sat for about 5 minutes before I videoed so some stabilized. Both batteries are faulty. One of them is worse than the other. Long story short great value and performance but they did not last long. 6 months is kind of a long time but 10 battery cycles is not. Buy a better brand. Update: I may have been a bit harsh in saying to buy a better brand. After I left the review Hoovo reached out and said there batteries have a 1 year warranty. The thought never even crossed my mind to call customer service for help. They asked for my address and within a week of leaving the review I received 2 new batteries in the mail. There customer service is top notch. I mean the original batteries did prematurely fail but Hoovo took care of it. Thank you.

They are actually really good lipos. The wire insulation for the balance plug had broke and the wires touched causing them to flame up. Will buy more and highly recommend them just tape the wires individually where they go into the plastic case for added protection!

Definitely cheaper and last just as long as the spektrum batteries I've been using.

Works as advertised

After only a few months and cycles, one of the batteries began to fail. First, it will not charge to 100%, then the odor. I was quite disappointed, but the second battery is still holding strong, so maybe it was just a part of a bad batch.
