Can it be used outdoors?

Yes, the Fungus Gnat Traps work well outdoors. UV-resistant & waterproof, they hold up in rain & sun. Used on patios & plants. Stickiness varies with weather & watering—some last months, but heavy watering may reduce the stickiness.

Do these traps have an odor?

No, they have zero odor. They're completely odorless, making them ideal for indoor use. Customers note no smell; they attract via bright yellow color, not scent, so they won't bother you or your family while catching gnats and other flying insects.

Will these work for other flying insects?

Yes, they work on fungus gnats, fruit flies, whiteflies and other pests. Customers report catching fruit flies and drain flies effectively. They work best on small insects; larger houseflies may land occasionally, but traps target tiny garden pests.

Best placement for different insects?

Place traps: fungus gnats/fruit flies in potted soil; fruit flies/drain flies near kitchen counters, sinks, trash; others on windowsills; outdoor in plant pots. Multiple traps help locate hot spots; then concentrate. Avoid leaves and dirt.

Safe for pets and children?

Yes, they are safe for pets & children: non-toxic, odorless. Keep away from kids/pets due to stickiness; place them in potted plants or on windowsills. If adhesive contacts skin, use vegetable oil or hand cleaner. Safe when positioned thoughtfully.
