Is the handle wheel steel?

I do NOT recommend this product!!! The tape broke quite easily in less than 6 months of owning!?!

Yep - it has meters and centimeters (and tenths of centimeters) marked clearly on one side of the tape as well as feet, yards and other such measurements on the other side. It is very nicely done. It is a shame that many people running for public office cant be as clear.
