Ameritex Waterproof Dog Bed Cover Pet Blanket for Furniture Bed Couch Sofa Reversible

So yeh, it sure is waterproof. I bought these for use on couch and dog bed (I bought two) for times when my creek loving labs come in with swamp dampened fur. I never seem to get them fully dried off, so them having a towel or easy to clean blanket helps mop up the rest of their wetness. Been using it like so for few weeks now, washed them a couple of times. Feels dense but soft.How I found out that they are REALLY waterproof is that once in awhile one of my cats will decide to PEE on the couch or dog bed. I tossed this on their dog bed, which is sort of loose looking (as opposed to couch where it seems to stay straightened out), and I noticed that it was holding pee. The pee had not soaked into the material. SO I carefully picked it up and poured off the pee. In hindsight, I should have tossed a towel on it to soak up the pee instead of trying to walk through the house with a puddle of pee.It is waterproof. That's great. If using it to keep liquids from a place that can easily be washed, then this will do it. However, I would top it with something that can soak up the liquid. So for me, I will put this on the couch cushion then top it with a big towel or small easy to wash blanket. Then pee (or whatever) will hit that first, soak up, and THIS cover will keep the pee (or other liquid) from seeping down to cushion, mattress, etc.It's durable feeling material, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for providing extra protection from nails, claws, wear and tear and such, as well as the waterproof aspect. One of the pictures from a review shows what I experienced: the liquid sits on top. So yeh, it is waterproof.I'll update if I experience anything else worth sharing, especially if I notice it not working anymore.

Purchased the 82”x102” size for our king bed and it fits perfect! (drapes over bedsides - can choose next smallest size) I have purchased other products/bed covers from this company for my trucker husband (twin sleeper bed) since he travels with our dogs and there hasn’t been a single accident that seeped through! Great for pet hairs, liquids and extra protection. Love that it has dual colors to flip from (I purchased the cream/beige combo) and that it’s machine washable! It was so good that I decided to purchase a bed cover for our King bed at home. Cover is thin but super durable! I haven’t seen any of the threads come undone or any staining - really great product for your money! Absolutely recommend. (No straps for couches but can still use over like a blanket) fabric is soft and comfortable (not plastic like) cant recommend enough. I have 3 dogs - my Great Dane is pictured lol and I have 2 rescue pitties that alternate home with me or over the road - either way, these covers have been life savers and saves me time and money with protecting our furniture

Not completely waterproof, but what can you expect? Fits a queen bed nicely and is a good color.

Waterproof, aesthetically pleasing, and easily cleaned, this blanket arrived quickly and is exactly as it was advertised. While my dog isn’t a heavy shedder (Weimaraner), this blanket seems to hold up to everyday use and protects my couch beautifully.

Great Product!!! I Bought several of these. A couple for the bottom of the bed where frequently our young lab likes to lay, unfortunately after jumping in the pool. This is only if we don’t catch it & keep her outside. — Works Great A couple for the backseat of the truck after dogs are in the field & wet. — Works Great One large one to cover the entire bed in the summer when the pool issue becomes more prevalent. But this was put to work on the garage couch. Unfortunately we have an elderly lab/ausie that recently became Incontinent with #2, including several bouts of diarrhea over the last couple months. These covers have been an absolute LIFESAVER. We use them on the couch in our detached garage & they protect the couch, are super easy to clean, as we just hang them on the yard fence & spray it off. They are basically clean, as the material doesn’t hold anything. But I run them through the washer/dryer to ensure. We have 2 of the large ones that we cycle thru, when needed. She doesn’t have issues every night, & the door is open, but sometimes she doesn’t wake up & sometimes just doesn’t make it outside. We haven’t had any leak through. — Works better than we’d hoped.

This blanket is not really soft but works really well and I got the bigger gray one and it is nice and washes well.
