This oil-based wood stain enhances the natural wood grain in just one coat and resists lapping for an even color. It’s perfect for interior wood projects such as unfinished wood furniture, cabinets, doors, trim, molding and floors, and can work on any bare or stripped wood surface. The special formula allows it to deeply penetrate wood pores within 5 minutes of application, and it dries in as little as two hours, making it possible to stain wood in just one day. To apply, just use a clean cloth or wood stain brush and apply in the direction of the grain. Wait 5-15 minutes and wipe away excess stain. The longer you wait, the darker/richer the color. Reapply coats for deeper color. Wait 4-6 hours before applying a wood sealer topcoat. Minwax is America’s leading brand of wood finishing and wood care projects. Since 1904, we have been inspiring consumers to Keep on Finishing. We offer consumers a complete line of products to meet every wood finishing need. Review: not bad for my first job - actually very good product, easy to work with, with a drying time of about 20 minutes. i was actually very please with the end result. I used a spray gun for the job and it actually gave me a better than expected coverage, the final result was impressive, was very satisfied with the appearance. worth every penny. Review: Very Red, Sedona Red - I ordered the Sedona Red stain based off of the images provided, which look like a yellow tone with a slight red tint. I used this on a natural wood, not sure what species, but it was pink. Very red, pink toned. It's a beautiful color, but not what I was I was looking for. I ended up painting the pieces that I wanted to stain. I would recommend better images, more realistic images for this stain, because this is a great stain, I love Minwax stains, but the images provided don't really show an accurate color. ## Features - Item Category: Building Material - Item Trademark: Minwax - manufacturer: Minwax ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001CETUXQ | | Base Material | Wood | | Brand | Minwax | | Brand Name | Minwax | | Coating Description | Oil Based | | Color | Sedona Red | | Colour | Sedona Red | | Compatible Material | Wood | | Container Type | Bottle | | Coverage | Approximately 16 square feet | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 160 Reviews | | Finish Types | Oil-based | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00027426222205 | | Item Dimensions | 7.6 x 7.6 x 7.6 centimeters | | Item Type Name | 222204444 | | Item Weight | 0.6 Pounds | | Liquid Volume | 500 Milliliters | | Manufacturer | Minwax | | Manufacturer Part Number | 222204444 | | Material | Wood | | Material Type | Wood | | Model Name | Minwax - 222204444 | | Model Number | 222204444 | | Model name | Minwax - 222204444 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Opacity | 0.1 unitless | | Paint Type | Oil | | Recommended Uses For Product | interior | | Size | Half Pint | | Style Name | Wood Finish | | Surface Recommendation | Wood | | Surface recommendation | Wood | | UPC | 027426222205 | | Unit Count | 8 Milliliters | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Minwax - **Colour:** Sedona Red - **Material:** Wood - **Model name:** Minwax - 222204444 - **Surface recommendation:** Wood ## Images ![Minwax 222204444 Wood Finish, Sedona Red, 1/2 Pint - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Tv+vnsSOL.jpg) ![Minwax 222204444 Wood Finish, Sedona Red, 1/2 Pint - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91iMLzkf2gL.jpg) ![Minwax 222204444 Wood Finish, Sedona Red, 1/2 Pint - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71edlAORf3L.jpg) ![Minwax 222204444 Wood Finish, Sedona Red, 1/2 Pint - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81ZEL8jzCXL.jpg) ![Minwax 222204444 Wood Finish, Sedona Red, 1/2 Pint - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81dAbXEdZ1L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ not bad for my first job *by R***R on 13 July 2026* actually very good product, easy to work with, with a drying time of about 20 minutes. i was actually very please with the end result.
