It's a wonderful game! It's simple and engaging. My 6yo and 4yo play it no problem. Kids love building up their character. Every play-through is different, because the dungeon is created by players. The curse mechanism introduces interactions between players. Excellent overall! Will buy the extension.

Fun game, kids love it

Fantastic game, often played with just myself and my partner, great fun for a quick competitive game. Was super easy to learn, and we often play a game in the evening, choosing our heroes randomly so that we end up playing different "matchups" and styles when placing our tiles. My partner also adores this game as it's something she's currently got the winning record with! 2-5 players and some heroes definitely gain greater strengths from their being more players on the board (The Warlock), while others are less affected by how many are playing. (The Gladiator) The game has great replay-ability, and is one we shall continue to keep playing on a games night!

Played this with my two boys, aged 12 and 9. Easy to pick up. Rules are clear and not overly complex. Enough dynamics with character abilities and curses to keep the game interesting with lots of replay value. Average play time 30-40 minutes. A very enjoyable game and a good route into the Dungeons and Dragons/fantasy arena.

My 6 and 4 year old love that game. Rules are simple my kids grasp them in no time, drawing tiles from bag gives them lots of fun and they can maintain focus till the end

One of favorite games to play with kids (9 & 6). They can easily play with no help. No language/reading experience needed - everything explained in icons.

I bought this to play with my 10 & 8 year old. It's perfect for their ages and feels a lot like an introduction to Dungeons and Dragons. We all thoroughly enjoyed playing and they're begging to play again tomorrow! Great success.

Habe Karak aufgrund der extrem guten Bewertungen bestellt (wie man sieht, erst vor kurzem) und wir wurden echt nicht enttäuscht. Wir suchten was, das unserem Sohn (7) Spaß macht, ohne dass wir Eltern vorher stundenlang Regeln studieren müssen. Das Spiel ist im Grunde ein "Dungeon Crawler" light. Man deckt Gänge auf, bekämpft Monster mit Würfeln und sammelt Ausrüstung. Was mir echt gut gefällt: • Die Qualität! Die Plättchen und Tableaus sind aus richtig dicker Pappe, das hält was aus. Fühlt sich wertig an. • Kein Frust: Kein Spieler scheidet aus. Wer "stirbt", verliert nur ein Leben, darf aber weitermachen. Wichtig bei schlechten Verlierern! ;) • Dauer: Die Runden dauern nicht ewig (ca. 30-45 Min), perfekt für zwischendurch. Einziger kleiner Punkt: Es ist natürlich sehr glückslastig durch die Würfelei. Taktik ist da, aber wenn die Würfel nicht wollen, verliert man halt auch mal gegen ne Ratte. Aber genau das sorgt hier für Spannung und Lacher am Tisch. Wer mal was anderes als "Mensch ärgere dich nicht" sucht und die Kids sanft an Fantasy-Spiele ranführen will: Klare Kaufempfehlung.

This is a great game, very fun ages I would say 7+. It's not too long, has some luck and some strategy. We love playing it. The product is original, very high quality.

As a family of 5, it can be hard to find games for 5 or more players that are also enjoyable for all ages. We all love this one! Our kids are 13, 10, and 6 years old and they were all able to learn how to play quickly. The six year old does need a little guidance as we play, but she still has a good time playing with the rest of us and the more we play the less help she needs. The game itself is very well-made and the box it comes in includes sectioned storage to keep all the pieces organized. The build-as-you-go gameboard and many heroes to choose from make the game a little different each time you play, which keeps it fun and makes us eager to play it again and again. I would definitely recommend this game for family game nights, or as a gift for kids who enjoy adventure games.

Karak is a fun game for people that love fantasy. It says it’s for ages 7+ and I think that is pretty accurate. I think kids younger than that would have troubles learning the game. It’s great for adults too! You can have up to 5 players. We played this at a friends house and instantly loved it. I found the price on Amazon to be cheaper than what I found elsewhere online.
