I have always used salon products and I can honestly say, me and my hair love this shampoo and conditioner. I have long, thick, wavy hair (more humid...more curl) and I always get hydrating and nourishing products. To be honest some of the best products do not do what they say, at least with my hair. The smell is lovely (I am a wiffer), I used 1/4 what I normally use (based on other reviews), and my hair felt great (even wet). And my scalp feels great...clean. If I could give a rating of 10 I would.
