Water and alcohol based. NOT oil based. Wouldn't have purchased if I had known BUT ingredients said kosher that's it. Ingredients need to be listed.

Good quality for baking and candy making,used and making homemade ice cream

Not joking!
When they say that this flavor is really strong they weren’t kidding, only used 1/2 tsp in an entire casserole and it’s almost all I tasted. Luckily it’s good as is, would recommend to someone looking for a strong flavor or use very sparingly.
