Best caulk gun I've every owned. Super quality. Not sure what you could possibly do to improve this thing. Best feature is the "auto stop" when you release the trigger. It automatically pulls the plunger back just a tad, to stop caulk from oozing out the end. You do not have to manually hit the thumb pad to do this, as with many other guns. You just release the trigger and, BAM! This thing screams QUALITY, as do many Japanese products these days. Couldn't be happier.

I have gone through a lot of caulk guns. In this case, I needed one that I could replace the plunger on for a particular heavy duty application. It has worked perfectly. The action is solid, Many of the parts are cast instead of stamped. It costs twice as much as a generic budget caulk gun, but will last 20 times as long.

I just received my 29 oz. capacity, Tajima brand gun from Amazon. It has the quick release, no drip feature that I couldn't do without. It has a cast Aluminum business end and cast aluminum handles with a molded polymer surround for comfort. It has a decidedly superior construction so I decided to spend the extra $10.

I have used this through 4 quart tube of acoustical sealant while sealing up holes and cracks in my attic. This gun works well and seems to have every feature I've needed. Sometimes the dripless feature doesn't work but that's not a fault of the gun it also depends on the tubes of sealant, they don't depressurize well.
