Okay, I read most of the reviews here and kind of agree with everyone. The texture is somewhat gritty and takes some getting used to. If you like malt you won't have any problems with this product. I suffer from Osteopenia, weakening of the bones. You are told to take CALCIUM, VITAMIN D and MAGNESIUM. But no matter how much I consumed my bones never got stronger. Then I read that you need lots of protein for the absorption of vitamins. That is when I thought a protein powder might do the trick. I selected Spring of Life because it's only 100 calories but gives you about 21 grams of protein. That is huge. I could not find another product with those numbers. I ordered the Vanilla and chocolate and mixed them together. My last bone test showed my bones getting stronger. I will continue to drink this no matter what. Do I like the grit.....no. Is it doing what I need it to do...... yes.

Did not care for the taste & the after taste stays with you

I have used Spring of Life a number of times and I'm always happy with the quality of the product. The vendor is very responsive to any feedback or issue you may have. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good quality protein source.

I love how this protein powder has very few ingredients. It does taste a little chalky but I've gotten used to it. I would rather drink this protein powder that is better for you and doesn't taste as good than a protein powder that tastes good but has a ton of ingredients that you don't know what it is and can't pronounce.

This maybe an all natural healthy protein powder but the taste is horrible!! I have tried it in yogurt with fresh fruit and could not choke it down! Yuk!

Don't let the ingredients fool you! The texture and taste of this product were overwhelmingly repulsive. It has a gritty texture with a very chalky taste. The item was returned after attempts to make it drinkable were unsuccessful.

I learned of this product through Beyond Diet and was excited to find that this protein drink was free of additives and other junk however due to other reviews commenting on how it tasted gross and was chalky I was worried it would be a waste of money.I was pleasantly surprised to find that I loved it (I always add other stuff to the drink so I cannot comment on how it tastes plain) and it has quickly become one of my favorite parts of my morning routine.My favorite combination so far is a scoop of powder, some Almond Milk, peanut butter, banana, and spinach (you can’t even taste the spinach so add as much as you want).

I was worried this wouldn't taste good, but I was taken by surprise. I love this protein powder! Now it's the only one I will drink. No sugar and all natural. Unlike lots of other ones on the market, this one is not filled with sugar yet is tastes great.
