I bought a Barska (Cheap-o Russian-made) spotting scope years ago for the range. This tripod fit perfectly. It's just the right size for a range bag. Yes, the Barska scope is as low grade there is, but for going to the range every so often it fits the purpose. Well-made and will make sighting in much easier than trying to support the spotting scope manually. Very pleased.
