Best compression stocking yet.
Let me first say I hate wearing compression stockings, but I also prefer to not die of a stroke, so gotta wear them. I’m on a forever quest to find the most comfortable + effect stocking, and I’ve tried a dozen or so over the last 15 years, though far from perfect, by far the best I’ve ever worn yet.

Great compression
As a nurse on my feet for 12-14 hours. They are amazing to keep my swelling down. Easy to get on but need help pulling off.

Fantastic Quality
I've used all types of compression stockings-- Carolon, TruForm and now these, Jobst. I actually first discovered these at a local medical supply store in a desperation search for quality, but ended up coming back to Amazon to order in bulk because they were about 15% cheaper here. These have solid, sturdy weaving and actually give the compression you're looking for. The other brands I used tended to lose compression after a couple of weeks, or started to rip at the seems after a month or so. Mind you, this is even after learning to put them on properly (YES! there is a technique to put these on, that I did not know: turn them inside out only to the heel so that you can slip them on over your foot comfortably, then you roll the excess up past your foot and slide it up your leg), the others would still give out. My first pair of Jobst lasted for SIX months with NO compression loss and no rips. That was twice as long as everything else I tried. They grip well below the knees (they do not have the "grip" beads that Carolons do, but they don't need it, and it is so much more comfortable without them) and do not slide down. It should be noted I have large calves (19.5" at widest) that are well-defined and taper to 18" at the top of the calf-- so that might be part of the reason these don't slide off of me too. I am 6 feet tall and the length of the XL is perfect for lower leg.

Love (as much as one can) an annoying necessity.
I’ve ordered a dozen compression socks since discovering the need a couple months ago (thanks doc! miraculous change in previously undiagnosed POTS symptoms).I have found a problem on getting the right fit for my unstable joints in my feet (EDS). Most stockings are too big at the ankle (so not helpful at all) or too small at the calf bc they’re made for patients with edema. While these are still tight and can dislocate my feet if I’m not careful, they are long enough to pull the bottom band past my toes, lessening the constriction at the ball of the foot which stops me from walking and sleeping (I’m supposed to wear 23h/day).Ordering more pairs. It’s been an experience finding the right pair. I feel for those that bought these and couldn’t return them, try a clothing resale platform.Everyone’s different. I hope they keep making them bc they are my most useful pair. A new favorite.
