Probably need one if you buy this. - This sleeping bag is indeed big, however it retains absolutely zero heat, tried using it on a camping trip in 20 degree weather and had to wear three layers and lay in the fetal position all night to try to fight off hypothermia while using this, the only thing this sleeping bag would be useful for would be to use in backyard camping in 70+ degree weather or as kindling for your campfire, don’t waste your time or money if you need to use it in a real world situation. I almost died trusting my life with this, don’t make my mistake.

It has an independent zipper on each side so you don't have to bug your partner to move so you can get out. The zippers unzip all the way to the bottom and then along the bottom. A minor quibble I have with it is there's nothing to close off the Velcro if you'd rather leave it unzipped. Not worth taking a star off for, but I'd rather not have the annoyance of Velcro hitting my face when I toss and turn. I found it very easy to get this gigantic awesome thing back in its stuff sack, and I really like the sack's straps that aid in lugging it around. Highly recommend!
