Charges but won't go to 100% if you're using the phone while charging. No directions came with it which was kinda annoying but it is pretty much self explanatory. The device itself takes a long time to charge and the unit gets hot so don't have anything covering it. Also for it to be fully Charges needs to have all three lights lit up.
