Wow, this Cocao Butter is fantastic. Makes the chocolate bar candy so creamy. Had friends over who tried some, said the chocolate was some of the best they had tried, especially for homemade. Very, Very creamy. Great product. Just ordered another bag of this Cocao Butter, it makes such creamy candy, it is unbelievable. Got tired of all the chemical products in chocolate candy and chocolate syrup, wanted to be able to make my own, 4 simple ingredients.

These are excellent cocoa butter wafers. I use them for lotion or as bath melts and they are perfect! Very hydrating and easy to use since they are “wafer” sized.

I use this for making body butter and lip balm. It smells so, so good! Will definitely purchase again as the body butter made with this product is very moisturizing and works well. I appreciate the mylar bag it came in to keep it fresher for longer.

Very good and pure

It still seems surreal that you can actually make your own chocolate at home, and with only 3 ingredients for dark chocolate. This cocoa butter is listed as food-grade and is pure cocoa butter. I don’t think you can go wrong with both those characteristics. The batches of chocolate I have made with this cocoa butter, some good cocoa and a non-sugar sweetener have come out with a deep, rich flavor profile and a good mouth feel. Tempering takes a bit more handholding than is needed for pre-tempered chocolate and even when I feel I’ve been successful, the chocolate can melt with a little too much enthusiasm, like when I chopped it up to go into chocolate chip cookies. Any chunks that weren’t surrounded by cookie dough ran across the cookie sheet during baking. I think newly made chocolate may need to be given a bit more time for some of the stronger crystals to form in tempering. Tastes quite good, though.
