Helps to keeps your feet warm
I use these insulating insoles with Bontrager carbon sole mountain bike shoes and Sugoi shoe covers. These really seem to help keep your feet warm. Last year I only used shoe covers, and if it was below 30 degrees F, you could definitely feel the metal cleat sucking heat out of your feet. These seem to eliminate that problem. I rode to work this morning in 18 degree weather, (about a 30 minute ride) and my feet were toasty warm.Bottom line, I'd buy these again.

They work
Yes, warmth okay, fit is a little odd--sort of raised in the middle. But if cold feet are an issue and you can get both your foot and the insole in there, then they will help a lot. Best for biking, just okay for walking IMO.

Great for wisconsin winters
My husband can't say enough about these insoles. He rides he ride pretty much all year. We live in Wisconsin and it gets cold, these keep his feet really warm.
