I'll start with the positives: the polish IS long-wearing, dries quickly under a UV lamp, is easy to use. However, it contains a strong chemical that can produce an allergic reaction in some people, and that is what happened to me. Within 3 days, the skin around my nails started peeling, the nails themselves started lifting from the nail bed, and I developed painful splits in the skin on my fingertips. It has been 3 weeks since I removed the polish and my fingers are still recovering. I tried using various moisturizers and antihistamines, and ulitimately had to go to the dermatologist for steriod cream. The ingredients that cause the most allergic reactions are methacrylates and trimethylbenzoyl diphenylphosphine oxide (TPO), which has been banned in Europe. Please read the labels before you buy any UV polish, and test it out for a couple of days first on ONE fingernail to see if you're allergic before doing both hands entirely.
