Expensive? Not when you consider the quality, comfort and purpose.
I had to be certain I did not fall after a double knee replacement, (wife typing here). I tried various different types of non-slip footwear until I stumbled onto this brand. Now I am spoiled, and will not resort to anything less. I wash in cold to medium temp, never hot or warm. I also use a underwear zipper bag, like I do with bras. Happy therapy to all, and to all a good walk!

Best socks I've bought for diabetic elderly mother
Perfect for my diabetic mother. It is hard to find socks where the cuff isn't too tight. The grippy bottoms are also why I bought these socks, they help my mother from slipping and falling

Too Large for Women's 7.5 EW and Too Much Elastic When Legs Swell
This is third time trying to get some padding on sole with non-elastic tops - Struck out again! Socks too large for my Extra-Wide 7.5 feet and just enough elastic to cause problem when legs swell. Not a fan of gripper bottoms.
