This is the only product that keeps my perioral dermatitis under control. I’ve tried so many creams and treatments, but nothing worked consistently until I found this. It calms the redness, reduces flare-ups, and keeps my skin clear as long as I use it regularly. The texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly, so it’s easy to layer with the rest of my skincare. I honestly won’t be without it — it’s become my holy grail product.

Excellent stuff I should have ordered this in the first place as I was going to get the Dermaticas one but I misread the 1.0-Fl as 100mls. It was only thirty MLS for £20. So I hadn't opened it so returned it for this The Ordinary version and it's 100ml. So much better value for the amount. I will say Dermaticas was a fifteen percent concentration of azelaic acid. But The Ordinary version at 10% will be fine for me. I've used this one before and it absorbs well and has a slightly moisturising ability. But I normally add a little more moisturiser on top of it but not on every application and my skin still feels soft on the days I only put on the azelaic acid. I also never felt any irritation as some have described. Plus, I've noticed slight results with only one 30ml tubes as I only use it for dark spots on my arms. But I don't spot it on the dark spots and apply it to all the top of the arms for a more even application.
