I want to use these for logging whistles do you think they'll work

I had received these Plastic Mini Air Horns accidentally on 2 orders. We have been using the Metal Air Hons for several months. The Mini horns, outside in totally silent surroundings, can barely be heard about 200 feet away. We used whistles in the past for years, and these are a fraction of the sound. Being a Plastic Toy, I would not recommend using them for anything where safety is involved, or consider them a reliable sound source.
