Also, we found the book Malia’s Magnificent Moontime by Angela Shabazz & Kendi Shabazz Muhammad an enlightening and interesting and helpful book as well. Also, the book Reaching for the Moon by Lucy H Pearce was great for the adult to read and reference in assisting our young girls through this life transition, a great book as well. So often we can feel like we are searching in the dark for ways to lift up the next generation and I feel these books I mentioned are an incredible gift to our daughters to help them see so much more than the western society presentation of puberty. Read these books and you will see all you are capable of and much, much more, as well as have a solid base to pass positivity on to our daughters about our precious bodies!
