Perfect party favors for a ninja themed birthday party for my son. The kiddos had a blast with them!

Glue dries almost instantly on the foam so be quick. I put a little drop at each tip of spikes and a drop in the middle and places something flat like a book with a little bit of weight to make them stick together good. Glue dried in like 1 min. You still have to throw them easy but they work a lot better You could also just put something with a little bit of weight in the middle of the stars. Like glue a penny to the middle of them on each side to add more weight for the amount of wind resistance they create They would really fly then

I was hoping they would be the more firm/thicker kind of foam that is a little harder to bend. Nope, these are VERY VERY THIN foam and a little smaller than I thought, though size was my fault since I didn't actually check the measurements. I got these for my son's Naruto themed birthday party to put in the "goodie bags" and I ended up hot gluing two of them together, same color and some you have to check size to make sure they are cut the same, and it made a HUGE difference and they felt a lot nicer to hold! You can't throw them when it's only one, when you hot glue two together, they are firmer and a little heavier so that when you throw them it's not like throwing a piece of unfolded paper like when you have just one, they would just fall to the ground a foot (if that) in front of you... so, if you order them and want them to actually throw for kids to play or whatever, just know that you might want to order more depending on how many you actually want to have because you will more than likely want to glue two together if you plan on throwing them or using them for anything other than just strictly decorative pieces. Side Note: (I am in no way ENCOURAGING or recommending that you give them to kids or for anyone to throw around and I do not recommend that anyone throw these at another person! ;-) I just felt the need to put that out there, for those who lack the common knowledge one SHOULD have before buying ANY ninja-inspired items or toys! :-P )
