3 Small Sized King Henry Giant Venus Flytraps - Fly Trap - (Dionaea Muscipula) Carnivorous Plant 3 inch Pot

I ordered a small 3 pack of VFTs from Joel a month or two ago and they're taking off and overfilling the net pot. Since I had a great experience last time, I figured to jump in and get some more plants from him. I was not disappointed. The plant is a good size and very healthy. I planted it, as per the written and video instructions, and set them in a tray with water. I buy my bottled drinking water from the Dollar General. It's their in-house brand. Luckily, it's exactly what I need for the plants. 2 birds, 1 stone. I checked the water analysis from the bottler's site and it's 0ppm of TDS (Total Dissolved Solids). If you use bottled water, just make sure it is purified (Reverse Osmosis) WITHOUT added minerals (a lot of them do that--check the fine print), or just get distilled water. I feed my traps (you don't have to, but it's why we have them!) once or twice a month, depending if all of the traps are open. I feed 1 or 2 traps per plant at a time. They've been getting frozen/thawed bloodworms (I feed those to my African Clawed Frogs, Dwarf Frogs, and Betta fish) and the occasional small cricket (baby Tarantula food). These traps got a bloodworm last night. I see bad reviews from people and all I can think is that they aren't following the provided instructions or checking out Joel's (or anyone else's videos) on the proper care. I am a plant killer. Always have been. I am keeping these alive and thriving after watching Joel's and other reputable Carnivorous Plant Youtube channels, along with a lot of research. It's not hard at all. I am not buying that they were sent dead or dying plants. I got plants within a few days of some of the reviews and they were perfect. I will be buying more plants from Joel. I will also be copy/pasting this review for another plant I bought at the same time because I can't think of anything different to say about it.

Plants arrived happy and healthy with some traps still open. I have been growing for about 5 years now. I bought my first ever traps from this shop and always trust a high quality plant from Joel's.

Died in a week been growing carnivorous plants for 10+ years no issues but this was the worst plant I have gotten every plant I get from Joel dies which I'm tired of it I will never order from this seller again

My 5 year old grandson had been begging for a Venus flytrap for months. He was so excited when I ordered these. The plants arrived quickly, healthy, with detailed instructions for their care, and everything necessary to plant them. Don't buy special soil or food for them, you won't need it. You will need a grow light and distilled water. Tap water will kill them.

It arrived very quickly with instructions on how to plant and care for them. Got them planted, watered and within a few hours, had already captured multiple flies. Great plants!

Love shopping at Joe’s because everything comes together- instructions, pots, “soil” and healthy VFTs! Can’t beat it. He’s invested in making sure the plants stay alive once you have them. I like that. My other VFTs I got from him died cause my dog knocked them down :(. They also tend to flower and that causes them to die too. From 3 plants I’ve gotten up to 3 more pots full of VFTs!

Plants arrived small half dead. Waited 4 weeks before writing review but no new growth and the rest are dieing now. And yes I know how to take care of vft plants.

*and very much alive I very pleased with my new friends ((I could only put so much in the top)) It was very good price and if your careful you could gift it to someone I find with the right care there easy to grow. I've ordered some in the past from Joel's company and I was really happy I have found that soil for carnivorous plants works better for me but that's just me
