Disney Encanto The Madrigal House 43202 Building Kit; A for Kids Who Love Construction Toys and House Play (587 Pieces)

I never know how to gauge Lego's age rating system. My 8 year old nephew blazes through 18+ builds, and my 3-5 year old nieces will do 7-8 year old builds with a little assistance. I got this one for my 4 year old niece who loves Encanto, but it was just a little too technical for her and she required assistance from her 10 year old sister to build it. That being said, the finished product was great. It had a good variety of colors and pieces and my nieces had fun building it together. I got it on sale, and it was a good bang for the buck build compared to other Lego themed sets.

I bought this kit for my grown daughter, who loves the movie Encanto and all its characters. She was happy with it when she opened her present and i think she'll enjoy putting it together and displaying it, if she chooses to keep it together. I'm a big believer in adults playing and these building kits, by Lego and other brands, are a great way for us to play. Plus, her kids also love the movie and can help her put it together.

This is a very cool set. It has lots of details in the house. My 9 year old was able to do it independently. It is very cool! Try to get it on sale. It’s a quick build.

I thought the house was beautiful so I wanted to do it myself (and with my son lol) but I was a bit worried that my son wouldn’t be into it as he never played with Lego before (he had a couple of Duplo sets but weren’t too into them) and it was below the age limit. Turned out to be such a hit. We fished more than 1/5 on the first night - played for 2 hours straight and he was forced to stop to go to bed. I basically found the pieces for each step and he put them together (with some help from me). We had a great time doing it together!

Lego lovers here! And we loved this set as much as all the others! It was a perfect gift and getting it on sale meant it was a great value!

Can't go wrong with LEGO and this is a fun set!

They had the potential to do something really amazing with casita and this doesn’t really live up to what I would expect from something Encanto. It’s very small, you don’t get all of the characters, and the moving parts that it does include are very minimal. I am also extremely unhappy with how small and hidden the candle is.I understand that LEGOs are just very expensive no matter what.. but $50 for this was a little disappointing.It is an easy build ~ my 6 year old built it on her own in one afternoon. I hope that they’ll eventually make a bigger and more elaborate set.

I purchased this Lego set as a birthday gift, and it was a huge hit! The recipient absolutely loved it, which made me incredibly happy that I chose this particular set. It's always gratifying when a gift brings joy to someone you care about. The quality and creativity of the Lego set made it the perfect choice for a fun and engaging present.

First and foremost, as usual, the packaging was good and the box was undamaged in the shipping. This was a Christmas gift to a child who loved the movie. It was well received, though the excitement waned when the building started. It took a long time, as there are some parts that required special attention. But those said items were intrinsic to why the set is so good. Once it was built, it took an honoured place among the toys. It's still played with, with only a few pieces getting lost at this point. Definitely something that I would recommend to LEGO lovers!
