Give it some time....it WORKS
I was really losing hope for my fur baby. She is a bengal, and elderly now (14) and bengals unfortunately tend to have bad IBS. She also has TMJ and arthritis so she requires a monthly shot. I tried a lot of stuff, spend hundreds ad hundreds and I found a bag of treats which had probiotics in them and I was on cloud 9 when she ate them (picky eater is an understatement) but she hated that it would turn to a thousand crumbs in her mouth so she began flicking them away with her tongue and that was when i mixed it in my hand with her fav treat but she's clever and must have her way and those treats w/the probiotic made her constant skin itching disappear but she refused t eat them. Her immune system is wild she has a herpes thing like most humans do where she itches and has chin acne and blackheads which required me to use a medicated wipe daily. She also has high blood pressure. I tried royal canin too for her diarrhea which promises results however it's a hit or miss and it';s loaded with by products which I try to avoid. So finally her slightly annoying vet recommended forti flora swearing most cats love the small and taste. I lost hope because she still had bad diarrhea and she has lost a lot of weight because of this and her finicky diet.m We started cooking chicken for her which helps. She will have diarrhea from time to time, but she had healthy poops for 2 weeks straight and i was amazed! Sometimes she gets sick of the forti flora taste but sometimes she is able to take breaks from it. So be patient, it sometimes takes awhile to build up in their system and fix the immune system but it does WORK. Only thing is, she is so tiny so i can't give her the entire packet at once or she throws it up, so i give her half, then in another meal later on, the rest of it, or just half and it even enabled her to eat a fav meal she likes which gave her the runs before, so she can have it now if forti flora is in it. Also hydration is very important for your cat when consuming Forti flora, or it can cause nausea. I try to get her to drink plenty of water but she gets all of her hydration from her wet food as dry food was making her scream in her litterbox due to it being hard on the kidneys it made her have difficult urinating. So she binge drinks from the faucet every couple days, and i always have clean water in a bowl everyday too. Forti Flora works wonders! Thanks Forti Flora! My baby has been through a lot health wise.

Works ..ITS WONDERFUL
First..I want to say I am a real person..a mom to 6 furr babies and 2 ferals that are finally warming up to me. One of the ferals I affectionately named Pretty Boy Floyd came to me obviously in distress suffering with severe diarrhea to the point I thought he wouldn't survive. I try to keep money reserved for vet emergencies but being unable to confine Floyd and take to the Vet I resorted to several home remedies that failed miserably. As last resort I used some of my saved fund and bought this product! WOW..it didn't work overnight but within a day he was trying to bathe himself and acting more like the Floyd who earned his name. It has been a week now and some of his weight has returned but he refuses to eat his food unless I sprinkle this on his food. I am going to order more and give to the 2 inside cats that have stomach issues. I have complete faith in this product.

This stuff is pretty amazing
I had never heard of this product until we took one of our cats to the vet bc she was having some seemingly serious digestive issues and was not happy. The vet recommended we give her a pack a day (product comes in small individual envelope servings) of FortiFlora. This stuff is not cheap and with three cats it wasn't easy to give the contents of a package to one cat and not the others. So we just allowed all the cats to dine on the one single package/day split between the three of them. They absolutely love this stuff. Not even a treat gets this much attention from them. Seriously.I can't spring for $90/month in order to give each cat their own package each day, so, to start, I would sprinkle the contents of one package on their dry food. Unfortunately, the FortiFlora powder would sift its way down to the bottom of the communal kitty food plate and we found ourselves wasting a lot. And then opening a second package in that day to make sure they actually ingested some. Not good at this price. (Two of our cats will only eat dry food and turn up their nose at wet food....this is why I put it on their dry food, though from reading reviews, many people put it on their cat's wet food each day....the whole package!)Since they like the FortiFlora so much, and we didn't want the waste we were getting when it would sift to the bottom of the dry food shared plate, we switched to giving them each their own plate with some dry food arranged on one area of the plate and a small pile of FortiFlora (one package split 3 ways) in a different area of the plate. Before they even eat a morsel of dry food, they will actually lick the pile of FortiFlora powder off the plate! You would think licking a powder would create a sneeze fest, but it doesn't.As for improvements, the cat we took to the vet with the digestive issues felt better within a few days, her coat has improved and miraculously, since starting the FortiFlora, a fungus (according to the vet) she has had on her chin for years, completely went away. The other two cats have seen improvement in their coat but since they didn't have problems to begin with it is hard to say what other benefits they derive from ingesting FortiFlora. But after seeing how much it helped the one cat, I feel confident that it is helping the others in unseen ways.

Problem Solver!
We adopted a kitten from the animal shelter, only to realize it had diarrhea. Thinking it was just nerves, I gave her a few days to settle in. The diarrhea continued. I ordered these probiotics and was shocked to see a pile of tapeworms in her poop the next day. This is a kitten that had been vetted and wormed before we adopted her. I now know that most wormers do not include wormer for tapeworms. If I had not tried these probiotics, who knows how this story would’ve went. It for sure would’ve included me cleaning diarrhea for several more days and likely a vet bill. It’s very impressive that these were able to attack tapeworms. I did follow up with a tapeworm treatment, but I am so thankful that these helped to figure out the problem!

The cats love it.
Don’t know if it does any good or not, other than reading what it does to my cats - only gave 4 stars as not sure if it is beneficial - I add water and packet to the cats meat morsels and gravy
