Things went great for the first couple of years, and then . . .
I ordered 2 buckets of these bait blocks (2 x 144 blocks) in 2018. They seemed to be awesome. Used them in Washington State in shop and garage and haven't had any issues. Used them in SE Oklahoma relatively successfully for a couple years. We placed them strategically in our cabin, in the shop, & inside & under the hood of our vehicles to keep the mice from eating anything, especially the housing on electrical wires, etc. We're gone about half the year, so the mice could have a free-for-all for months at a time; thus the aggressive preventive measures. The first year, the blocks were just totally intact when we came back months later. No damage anywhere. We removed the blocks in the vehicles, and left the others in place. Same procedure every time we leave for a long period of time. The second year after returning, I noticed lots of little green residue around many of the blocks. I figured uninvited spiders & bugs were eating the seeds. No biggie. I did notice a few little flying critters in my bathroom, and I thought they were "silverfish". The blocks looked like bugs had been nibbling on them -- little green residue around the blocks. I cleaned everything, replaced all the blocks in there, and the flying critters seemed to go away. But this year, when we returned in January -- the blocks in the vehicles were utterly disintegrated -- just a pile of green fluff with seeds in it. Inside, once the house warmed up, things started coming alive, and we had little white icky-looking worms showing up EVERYWHERE! They were absolutely resistant to everything we sprayed on them -- we could NOT kill them, even saturating them with bug spray. Eventually a direct spray of Wasp killer killed the worms. Most of them went down the drain, followed by hot hot water. I hope they don't crawl up out of our septic tank!! The inside blocks were looking much like the blocks in the shop -- some were fairly intact, but some were totally disintegrated, as in just a pile of green fluff and partially-eaten seeds. I had diligently placed the bait blocks EVERYWHERE in the cabin -- inside cupboards, along baseboards, in perimeters of every room & closet, inside drawers -- anywhere a mouse might go. The flying insects were mostly gone -- there were a few but mostly they were dead, laying here and there. And I found lots of little cocoons in tight spots, & that's where the worms came out of. I think they thought it was spring when the house warmed up, and everything came alive! I have spent mucho hours cleaning everything, washing everything, vacuuming everything -- trying to get everything cleaned up. The blocks are all sitting outside where it's cold -- just to get them out of the house. I think they'd probably still be effective if I just distributed them outside on the ground a distance from the house -- but I'm not really sure that's prudent. Those worms can really travel -- and I don't know what their next stage is . . . Long story to say those 2 buckets turned out to be a disaster! You will notice a smaller, waxier bait block. Those are a different type, and they are just a year old, but I found areas on them where they were starting to look "eaten", & a few with worms coming out of them also!!! Hopefully I retrieved all the blocks that were inside the cabin. This mess of bait blocks is ALL going to be thrown out where maybe our wild night critters outside will eat them. See the photos to see what I'm talking about!

A fabulous product!
Like many in our (rural) area, we typically start seeing mice about the first of April, after the snow. This year, everyone was complaining about the mouse infestation in February. We started by using traps, often catching 2 mice in a standard trap. We have cameras in our barn, and one night, we discovered dozens...DOZENS of mice running around. That's when we decided to go with bait blocks. Within 5 days, no mice were running around the barn. Each morning, I'd find a few dead mice that I would pick up and dispose of. We began recommending to others in our community. This product was a game-changer!

Rodents love it
I buy this every year and Iโm always happy with how well it does. Squirrels love it and eat it like candy if you put it in a big enough bait trap for squirrels to fit in. Obviously works well if you have rats and mice too. I have to refill the bait trap twice a day when the rodents are feeding.

They like it.
I will update for a few days. Day 1. Hammer in hand I hit the wall with enough force to break through where a support screw had been. I shoved 6 blocks into the hole. I don't have much hope. For weeks they have tormented me. Scratching, chewing until I'm insane and bang on the wall. They run to an area I can't reach and continue with their insidious chewing. WHY did the container with 200 pounds of bird seed have to break? Why did all the mice have to call the neighbor mice in to feed them too? Three cats have had their fill and are so full and fat they just wait for one to run past them and reach out to get it. They can't keep up. The mice are too smart for the traps. I haven't gotten a single one. Day 2. Wow do they love this poison. Another 6 blocks eaten in 12 hours. Or are they stockpiling it? Day 3. 6 more blocks. I don't hear them chewing tonight. It's eerily quiet. I'm not used to this. Maybe they are on to me and have gathered to use the poison against me. There is only tape covering the hole so it's easy to refill. Are they watching me as I sleep? Day 7. It worked. I rarely hear them anymore. When I do I'm guessing it's a neighbor that hasn't heard about the poison yet. In hindsight putting a hole in my bedroom wall was not a good idea. The smell of their decaying carcasses is not good. I was so desperate.... *I know that there are not many humane ways to deal with mice. I cried from having to resort to this but they were destroying my home. So I made light of an awful situation. *

Good Price Seems to work Well
I am overrun with squirrels. I called my county extension and told them squirrels were chewing into my home and eating my wires. They said they are classified a pest and I can catch, trap or poison. I chose JT Eaton Bait in suet cages. I have run thru 4 buckets that is how many squirrels I have on my 1/4 acre heavily treed property.

Well worth the money
We live in a heavy wooded area. Always had mice coming in. Since getting these the mice have been eradicated. I'll find where one or two have come in cause the new blocks get chewed on but they die shortly after. Plus its such a big container that I can keep putting them around the house to prevent another infestation. Just keep them away from your pets.

Works on City Rodents
I live in the city with new construction digging deep in the ground stirring up rat burrows. The last year has been terrible for these city rats around here. I've started using this product for the last 8 months and have seen a steady decline in visibility rats and in the last few months have seen rats that seem have dropped dead. The bait stations are constantly refilled meaning it's being eaten and working. I recommend this and the use of resealable bait stations for residential areas so pets and curious children can't get to them.

THESE ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been finding mouse (rat?) poop on my kitchen counter and I can hear one behind my dryer that has been going in and out of the dryer vent. I bought traps that the mouse goes in so that I don't have to touch them. I can just pick up the thing and throw it away. it has a green brick of poison inside with a clear lid. NOTHING HAPPENED. I even paid $20 for the black plastic box that has a mousehole in it and you put batteries in it and it can zap 800 mice at a time and kills them instantly., The green light goes on when you have a mouse inside. Black zapping box did not work. Did not catch anything. I took the green bricks out of the black boxes with clear lids thinking maybe my mouse/rats are too big to get inside them. So since I had the green bricks. I just tore those boxes apart and put green bricks behind dryer and under kitchen sink where I had mouse droppings. To my amazement the green bricks are gone so they must be eating them. But didn't find anything dead. So I bought this big bucket of peanut butter flavored bricks mixed in with the green. I read all the comments and they all said they had success with them. DO NOT TOUCH THE BRICKS WITH YOUR HAND. Mice can sense human smell and will not go near it for a few days. So I wore doctor's latex gloves to put them out so my scent wouldn't be on them. I got a pail of 144 bricks in 2 days from Amazon. Last night I put a few bricks behind the dryer and a few under the sink. This morning, I had a dead rat halfway in and halfway out of my dryer vent. So I was correct that's how they were getting in. Removed rat -- and he was too big to fit in those silly little trap boxes. I put 4 more bricks outside the dryer vent so they can fill up on them before trying to enter the vent again and I put a bunch on the other side of the house where I think they're getting into the kitchen. I had no success with standard green bricks, or zapper boxes or the throw aways. USE THESE PEANUT BUTTER BRICKS. Overnight success!!! Now I'm curious to see how many more dead ones I'll find. Don't waste your money on the other ones. This stuff works fast and they love peanut butter. Good luck. THESE ARE POISON -- DO NOT PUT ANYWHERE DOGS OR OTHER ANIMALS CAN GET TO THEM.
