I didnt' like the sound of the internal mic and I figured the sensor was the same (might not be), so that helps provide a more uniform sound between my on bike riding voice and my voice overs. I recommend you place the mic about 45 degrees off axis from your mouth. ie: 45 degrees off straight forward. That will reduce plosives and excessive sibilance. If you put it right in front, real close to your mouth on the chin bar, you'll get more wind noise and if you say picked peppers playing poker with popsicles or something like that and play it back on any kind of halfway decent sound, you'll hear the plosives bad.
