Good for what I needed, but the flavor does not last
I wanted this gum because studies have shown xylitol reduces tooth decay (see Wikipedia quote below). I put this in my kids' lunch, because they have had some issues with cavities, and despite my begging that they brush at lunch, I am very sure they are not. I take this gum also, and I chew it after my lunch. I know my kids will chew this, even if the flavor doesn't last long, because it's gum- and all gum is better than no gum. On the negatives side, if you are looking for a gum that stays soft and chewy and flavorful for a long time, this isn't it. I like the flavor- it's not bitter like some cinnamon gums, but I can't say it lasts long. I chew it, feel it freshens my breath and may help my teeth, and the pretty quickly, when it starts to taste like unflavored rubber, I spit it out. what follows is from wiki: Xylitol is a "toothfriendly" sugar. In addition to not encouraging tooth decay (by replacing dietary sugars), xylitol may actively aid in repairing minor cavities caused by dental caries.[citation needed] Early studies from Finland in the 1970s found that a group chewing sucrose gum had 2.92 decayed, missing, or filled (dmf) teeth compared to 1.04 in the group chewing xylitol gums. In another study, researchers had mothers chew xylitol gum 3 months after delivery until their children were 2 years old. The researchers found that the xylitol group had "a 70% reduction in caries (dmf)." Recent research confirms a plaque-reducing effect and suggests that the compound, having some chemical properties similar to sucrose, attracts and then "starves" harmful micro-organisms, allowing the mouth to remineralize damaged teeth with less interruption. (However, this same effect also interferes with yeast micro-organisms and others, so xylitol is inappropriate for making yeast-based bread, for instance.) Xylitol based products are allowed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to make the medical claim that they do not promote dental caries.[9]

Spry Cinnamon for the WIN
Absolutely my favorite gum. It's a bit stiff at first and the flavor isn't particularly durable, but otherwise Spry cinnamon might be perfect. Go elsewhere if you need fiery heat or if you want a thickly resistant blob to chew. Stay here if you appreciate an old-school chiclet experience where each piece crunches at the start and gets totally smooth by the time its flavor begins fading away. Spry is sugar-free and as such is actually kinda' good for your teeth to boot (but be sure not to let any dogs get a hold of this stuff, because xylitol is highly toxic to the non-tooth kind of canines!) Lastly is the packaging: Spry is available in very-reusable & easily-recyclable containers that add bulk-quantity affordability while minimizing waste. This aspect is what really makes Spry cinnamon a no-brainer in my book: totally delicious, with a fun and refreshing chomping experience, as well as more-sustainable packaging that doesn't force you to throw out tiny bits of plastic and foil whenever you grab a piece.

Best price for this product
I was diagnosed with LPR (a form of acid reflux) last year and needed to avoid mint. Itโs also recommended to chew gum to aid digestion. Since I would be chewing this gum more regularly, I wanted to opt for something a little more healthy as far as the artificial sweeteners go. Iโve used this gum in the past, so I already knew the flavor didnโt last very long. If youโve never tried this gum, it is definitely more โnaturalโ and the flavor doesnโt last very long. The consistency is also more firm and a bit harder to chew (compared to your average name brand). Having said that- I still recommend it. It works long enough to do what it needs to do and the benefit of not worrying about aspartame or other nasty artificial sweeteners is worth it (IMO). Great flavor and good price for the size container!

Good Stuff! Make Sure You Keep Away From Dogs!
This has amazing taste! Even though there have been double blind studies showing it reduces cavities xylitol is controversial. I chew it because I have low saliva production. Ten minutes every hour, ten hours a day increases saliva production, which protects gums and teeth. It is thought that mouth bacteria can't ferment it, which is the reason it reduces cavities. Xylitol to dogs is deadly, so I am very careful to keep Xlear Spry gum where they can NEVER get to it, and disposing the used gum into the trash out in the garage. In dogs, Xylitol is toxic. Just 3 grams can kill a 65 pound dog. In about 30 minutes (give or take) of a dog eating something containing xylitol, their blood sugar begins droping to dangerous levels. Symptoms are weakness, lethargy, loss of coordination, collapse and seizures. An IMMEDIATE trip to the vet is needed, otherwise there is little chance your dog will survive. This doesn't affect cats. Another thing to consider with xylitol, is that it does thin the blood in humans. People on blood thinners, such as myself should consult their doctors before consuming Xlear Spry or any xylitol containing items. That said, Xlear Spry gum is really good, I especially like the cinnamon flavor. I love the flavor! Also, there are no Phenylketonurics (known cancer causing ingredients) in Spry.

Fyi- Made in china, plastic gum.
Sugar free but not plastic free. Ingredients say "gum base" to hide that your chewing/eating plastic. It's also made in china. My mistake for buying without researching it.

Not The Best But Not The Worst
I can't really decide how I feel about the gum yet so I'm just going to leave a neutral review with my experience. The gum sizes are a little too small for my liking so I generally take 2 at a time. So for me there is 50 servings per container which is a fairly good deal and lasts quite a while. The flavor is really good, not too strong and not too weak and great bold cinnamon flavor. The downfall is that it doesn't last very long which is probably in the fact that it's not flavored by a bunch of artificial junk. So kind of a trade off. It's pretty hard when you first start chewing on it but relaxes after a few minutes. It does have a strange aftertaste and oral feeling after you spit the gum out but after a while you get used to it and it's not that bad. I think it's just the type of sweetener. Overall the gum is very different from traditional in store gum. Flavor doesn't last quite as long, has a different aftertaste and material is a little different. The trade off is the ingredients are much healthier for your teeth and my mouth actually feels cleaner at the end of the day. I don't have a sugar plaque feeling on my teeth. I think that's why I have trouble deciding if I like it or not. Unhealthy but flavorful or healthy and not as flavorful.

Good flavor, no Aspartame, no Phenylalanine (no laxative effect)
Good things: * It has a good flavor and taste. * It contains no Aspartame and no Phenylalanine. * The absence of Phenylalanine means that it has no unwanted laxative side effects, even if you chew a lot of it. * There are very few chewing gums that contain no phenylalanine. Bad things: * The flavor runs out quickly. * Some foods or spices cause the chewing gum to break apart into small pieces of mush inside your mouth. An example is KP Dry Roasted Peanuts. * If you chew a lot of the Cinnamon flavor pieces, it will cause a sort of burning sensation on your tongue -- at the tip and at the bottom. This can last for several hours. The other flavours do not have this problem.

Love this!
As someone who loves cinnamon, I really like this gum! The flavour fades fast though, but I can say it leaves your teeth feeling extremely clean afterwards.

Ottimo
Ottime gomme, gusto pieno e permanente. Dopo un po diventano un po dure, non sono all'altezza delle costose gomme interamente naturali, ma hanno un prezzo davvero aggressivo.
