So much fun for my teen
The was fun, challenging but doable. My 13 year old finished it in 1.5 days. Was a great value for what we spent. A few of them are so small and fragile that they ended up breaking and becoming unusable. But my son was able to get it together still. And its held up.

Piececool is the industry standard...
This is a stellar build. The deck is the most tedious portion of the build. The bridge wasn't that difficult. It's a pretty good size about 10" long. It sits well for display. If you are a fan of metal models this is a great edition to your collection of builds.

Great project!
My 9 year old son LOVES assembling anything he can get his hands on. This was definitely challenging for him (he had a few frustrating moments!) but in the end he was very happy. It probably took him a couple hours to complete it… over the course of 2 days. Highly recommend!

Good Quality.
Good for someone who has a little knowledge about this hobby. Great for my husband! It was a great gift. It might be a little more difficult and frustrating for a beginner.

Guys are so hard to buy for! Especially guys you don't know that well. I purchased 3 of these metal models for teen/young adult guys in the family. Wanted them to have something unique, fun, and entertaining.

Interessanter Modellbau mit Schwächen
Der Zusammenbau hat Spaß gemacht, obwohl er teilweise schon recht schwierig war. Nicht gefallen hat mir, dass auch goldfarbene Teile verwendet wurden. Damit wirkt das U-Boot m.E. etwas kitschig, zumindest etwas realitätsfern. Das Material hätte mehr Qualität haben können, bzw. hätten Biegestellen/Perforierungen besser gemacht sein sollen. Dann hätte wohl der eine oder andere Bruch vermieden werden können. Die Einsicht in das Innere des U-Boots erscheint mir durchaus interessant.
