The fit, the stitching quality. the design of the soles and the rugged grip of the treads are all top notch. As a hiking boot wearer for many decades I can see how much easier these will be to clean and condition without all those folds and suchlike to deal with around a conventional bootlace area too. There didn't seem to be any need to wear mine in because the interiors were immediately loose - wide - enough for there not to be any rubbing point problems at all. I really like 'em and think they are well worth the money for their sheer comfort and quality - and there's me thinking 'Keen' only made fantastically good sandals, until now.
