I developed vaginal atrophy after chemotherapy for breast cancer. Because of my breast cancer, I'm unable to use estrogen suppositories. For those that complained of some discharge after use, I suggest using a panty liner. It's completely worth it. Insertion is easy with or without an applicator, but I suggest remaining lying down completely still for at least 15 minutes after insertion. I've found that even pulling on my panties can cause it to slip out. I also find it's best used when I go to bed, so it has all night to work its wonders. Liked: Seems to work well for moisturizing and helping with painful sex. I used this after pelvic radiation three years ago, because I was extremely dry and sex was painful due to the scar tissue caused by the radiation. I had minimal discharge from this product, compared to others I've tried. Didn't like: It's a little tough to get the pill our of the stiff blister packs. I've had to cut them. Also the insert is long, but even so, it was comfortable and softens up right away. I cut them into halves or thirds and they seemed to do fine, and also the box lasted longer. (I'm not sure if that's recommended though.) My main complaint is that they did NOT help with my latest issue, which is an odor that is ruining my life. I've had this issue for almost a year and a half, and all tests have been clear for: yeast infection, BV, Ph imbalance, VD, Cervical issues or cancer, UTI, PAP smear ... everything clear and they finally gave up trying to help me. So if you have any of those issues, I'm no authority on whether this would help with odor, because it might. But for someone like me who just has an odor issue, so far there seems to be nothing.

Yesterday I received my NeuEve Silk and I knew I had to try it at bedtime. I have been in menopause since 33 years old and I am 64?now. I had cancer and therefore was afraid to use estrogen cream vaginally which is what doctors have said for years that I need. I was afraid to use it so I just didn’t listen. Fast forward to now and I have been miserable. I have had a dull aching and it feels like when you feel like a UTI is coming on not to mention the awful dryness so the doctor said I had no choice but to use the estrogen. I was so miserable I started using it. Taking the instructions out and reading all the warnings freaked me out! So I got on the internet and prayed there was something else out there to help me, there just had to be! That is when I stumbled upon the info about NeuEve. I read everything I could find on it and felt like I had nothing to lose cause the options were few and far between. I put my first suppository in last night and it didn’t take long to melt and my body absorbed it almost immediately that is just how dry I am “down there”! This is what I do not understand...how can the dull aching and the feeling of getting a UTI be gone? One application and I feel this good? After suffering for years and sex being so painful? I actually have hope now. My plans are to use all three stages of NeuEve. This is an absolute miracle and bless you Dr. Chang for creating a product like this that is going to help so many of us. Wait till I see my doctor and if things keep progressing like this I will be stopping the estrogen cream and will stay on NeuEve for the rest of my life.

I have used this product on and off for a few years. I liked that it reduced dryness and I felt more comfortable. I believe there was an even gentler version called Velvet that I had used as well. I ordered that and got Silk which I had also used before. I applied a small amount over a few days and got that horrible burning and itching that others are describing. I wrote and wrote to the company and got the explanation that Silk and Velvet are the same thing. That seems unlikely. I asked them to cancel my next order but they said they couldn’t. It’s six weeks later. I’m still itching on the outside. I’ve used boric acid internally; I’m afraid of Monostat.. I hear that burns terribly. I would never use this product again.

I'll try not to go into a lot of detail, but at 61, I was beginning to wonder whether I should once again use an estrogen-based prodct for vaginal atrophy. I first tried it when my Gyn. recommended it after post-menopause. I used it for about a year and it did work very well, but just didn't like using estrogen - I esp. don't like that it comes from horse urine. That was about 6 or 7 yrs ago. The conversation came up again after a bout with a stubborn UTI, then an antibiotic induced yeast infection. There seems to be some literature suggesting that atrophy and UTI's are connected. But I just don't want to use estrogen - and literature is varied on the opinions - health benefits and risks. I thought I'd give NeuEve a try as I had used another brand of vaginal suppository before - but the other brand had a medicinal smell I didn't like, and it didn't do much to change the atrophy. This product has actually impressed me. I also ordered the small jar of cream to put on daily. So far, so good. I have felt much more comfortable. The product is more than I would like to pay, but I ordered my second box. I started with Silk - their recommendation, but ordered Silver the second time by accident --because I think the Silk formula was doing its job. But now I'll be able to compare anyway. I recommended at least trying it.

Happy vajaja!!!! I’m 70 and was at my wits end hopeless. I’ve tried so many products and hormonal applications. The gyn loved the ingredients, I use the balm, suppositories occasionally a dilator; she gave me the green light & AFTER ONLY 1 month painful union DECREASED by at least 75%, Honestly, sincerely.
