Review: Great for minor edits to games or major ones - I wasn't sure how to feel about getting this version over the older one, due to no reviews yet and the lengthy estimated shipping/arrival time. I must say that I find it worthwhile and I am glad I ordered this version. I have not used any similar products since Game Shark for GBA. The setup was really easy. Use the link they give you to get the software, make an account, enter the license key, then plug & go. The codes are already in the software and come up when you insert the game into the USB adapter. There is an option to backup your game or it auto-saves before making any changes to the game file. Naturally, I wanted to try this for Pokémon and saw it was supposed to work with Sun/Moon, Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, and X/Y. I tested my copy of X first. Pretty simple to get what you need and I considered it an expendable game if something went wrong. Worked fine, so I tried Ruby for the same reason, worked even better because the codes became a little more intuitive. Naturally, I tried Sun next (not considered expendable) to see what it was like. The codes for Sun/Moon are very easy to use. I've logged 400+ hours into the game already, so I mostly wanted to convert some shinies I was having a lot of trouble getting via the GTS. Altering nature, ability, and IVs can save a lot of hassle (and box space) compared to hatching hundreds of eggs. You can also acquire a wide range of Wonder Cards, in case you've missed out on promo codes/events. I haven't tried using any altered Pokémon in a battle event yet, but I was able to upload a Pokémon to the GTS in Ruby. I have not tried Sun yet. The Wonder Card ones can't be traded (except the eggs, which can have the met at a special occasion tag removed). So far it looks like only eggs can have the tag removed, which seems unfortunate, but not the end of the world. There is also no option to change a Gen 6 to Gen 7, so you have to hatch one in Gen 7 or trade in order to have Pokémon eligible for battle events. My only complaints are that the layout requires quite a lot of scrolling, but there are a lot of abilities, items, moves, etc. which makes that difficult to change. It is set up as a drop-down tree, which keeps from overwhelming the user. The other annoyance is all of the back and forth, since most operations have to be done to the Pokémon in box 1 slot 1 only, so it takes time if you want to do any major changes to multiple Pokémon. There is a good amount of tedium involved. That said, I still give it the full 5 stars because it was so easy to set up and arrived weeks before the earliest estimated delivery date. There are many functions available, though I primarily only want to do minor changes and still level/battle/trade as I normally would. I do recommend it, whether you are looking to make major changes to your game or minor ones to save yourself hours. Once I test the GTS/Wonder Trade and Battle Spot with my Pokémon, I will update to give specifics on what's what. Cheers! Edits: I still maintain my 5 stars on this after having the Power Saves for 2 months. I have turned pretty much all the Pokémon I use into shiny and maxed out the IVs or altered natures as needed. I do breed some if I add egg moves, just so they are 'legitimate' to be sure. Giving a Pokémon a hidden ability that does not naturally have it does not seem to transfer to eggs and reverts to the original ability if evolved, so the easiest way is probably to Wonder Egg/Card a Pokémon with the hidden ability and breed it. It's a little extra work, but it keeps the Pokémon legit, aside from the shiny alteration. I have not tried to use any Pokémon that have moves, stats, or abilities outside the realm of possible, but I can confirm that altered ones are usable in PokéBank storage/transfer, GTS and Wonder Trade, and Battle Spot competitions in Sun (and I assume Moon) Version. I have had no issues and was not among the players banned for altering content (as I believe they fall into the category of modification beyond the possible). I did figure out that the "Fateful Encounter" flag can be removed on any Pokémon, although the option is in the Wonder Egg section for some reason. It's helpful if you want to trade or register a flagged Pokémon for competition. I think the UI could still use some work, but overall it's good. You have some different options and available Wonder Cards from X/Y/OR/AS that can be moved up to Sun/Moon and may be worth the time (like Pikachu that knows Surf). I'm up around 520+ hours of play time, so it's a nice way to supplement the game and test out a bunch of different team builds. Hopefully you enjoy it as much as I do!

Works fine. Quality was sacrificed on the 2017 version...
Package arrived in way less time than was specified in the description. Not sure why such a long time span on the shipping.. maybe to 'cover themselves'? Not sure. I got it in about a week so no complaints. So, this appears to be a 'new version'. I did not have an older one so I can not say what the differences are. The package itself, as you can see does say Pokemon Sun & Moon, so it is at least that new I guess. Functionally, it seems to work fine so far. No connection issues at all. Software starts up and detects games without a ritual of frustration and disappointment. The software itself is a bit clunky to use and is not the most visually appealing to look at. But not enough to knock off a star. I got it more for backing up and restoring my saves than for the cheats. Keep in mind, if you use this to alter any aspect of the code of a pokemon, it will likely make it to where you can not put it up for trade on the GTS. For instance, I used it to remove the Classic Ribbon from an otherwise legit Celebi. Now when I try to trade it it says 'There was a problem with this Pokemon' just before it goes on the server. My satisfaction didnt hinge on this working, but it would have been nice. (That whole trade restriction by Nintendo is silly anyway...) It works just fine to save and backup your game, then put your rares you trade for up in the bank, then restore your save back. It works, the software is 'meh', but works fine. Here is the reason for only 4 stars. And I am being nice with 4 here... The quality of the device itself is absolutely terrible! It is very cheap light rattly plastic.I can pull apart one side of the seam where the game is inserted with almost no effort. There is an almost constant fear of having to protect the thing. If it survives one accidental drop, I will have to be satisfied. The cord does stay in the side of it pretty well, but again, be careful to not move it around too much for fear of splitting the seam. The game does snap into place inside good enough for now. Notice in the pic that the one i got was almost a square. ( dimensions are 1.6in x 2in or so) The shape of the one in the description is clearly not square.

Arrived a day earlier than the estimation date it works just like described. Used it to edit my in-game team to make them usable at the battle facilities and help shorten the RNG breeding process. Takes a bit of work to get it setup, but once its setup and registered everything is so easy and self explainable to do. The only real complaint is that you require an internet connection to use it.

Doesn't work
Didn't even receive the item pictured in the order. Received a different, cheaper version. Regardless, I followed the instructions both in the box and on their website to a T. Even watched a YouTube video explaining the step by step guide to installing, registering, and setting up the device. No luck. Definitely disappointed in this complete waste of money. If you are considering purchasing this product, save your money and do not. Trust me, the cheats aren't worth the guaranteed waste of money.

Works?!
Works kinda, I guess? Works but half the features don’t work. Idk if you have to pay for them or what but ya, you can still mod your games. They could have put an insert or some packing peanuts in the box to keep stuff from rattling around instead of nothing.

Works well and easy to use
Perfect as advertised. Works with Pokemon sun/moon. Easy system to install and understand. Have not tried with other games but support seems REALLY good from AR.
