Fujifilm Half Case Camera Case X-E1 / X-E2 / X-E2S (Brown)

i will just make some points about my view of the x-e1 casei found the quality to be very nice.i like the slight bit of added hand grip.i like that you can open the bottom to get to the sd and battery/ my x100 case does not do this so i have to take it off all the timei enjoy the half case style, it fits perfectlyconno tripod mount. (its easy enough to get on and off that if i were using a tripod it would not create a problem. i like the half case so i can sit it down and not worry about scratches to the bottom of my camera. if i have a tripod mount on, i most likely would not be just setting it down. or it would be on the tripod. so this is not a problem for me buttt.....if it had a tripod mount it would be better

Not too fancy, and a little pricey for the leather quality. I do wish that it was offered with a front / top cover for protection during transport or storage, something closer to an old fashioned eveready case. That said, the full cases that I looked at before deciding on this unit looked pretty crude.The strap is adjustable and comfortable, but what isn't seen in the product shots is that each end is made up of about 24" of narrow (3/8") nylon web material. It's probably the right choice in design in order to make the fit adjustable, but it is a little surprising to see when you first open the package.I bought the half case for looks, I wanted my X-E2 to look even a little more retro. Even as I type this I'm a little shocked that I feel that kind of vanity with a camera! In fact I would have preferred a more distressed looking case with an uneven finish and dark burnished edges, but the available choices cost twice as much and take weeks to arrive. I guess my vanity has its limits...Buy this case for the slight protection it provides the camera, for the retro look, and for the price. I purchased this one after applying for the Amazon Rewards card so after the instant one-time $70 savings it cost me $8.75.

i've always been under the impression that you get what you pay for, so at $80 for a half case, which i consider steep, i thought i would receive something nice, not at all. not sure what this thing is actually made of, but it looks and feels like ultra cheap plather, too many negatives to list, but worst of all it gives a great looking, quality camera a very cheap look.

Well made, but not worth the money. My biggest complaint is that, although you have easy access to everything else you don't have access to the tripod mount so you have to take the case off if you want to use a tripod.

In this case the case is somewhat flimsy and won't stay where it should. I still use it. Works much better if used with supplied strap.

Fits great. I like the color. Give better grip. . I don't like much the strip, i prefer a softer one.

Nice looking, decent protection for the camera. The strap is a little cheap, but seems to be wearing in fine. Feels too hard out of the box, but after a few weeks seems to be relaxing with use. The access to the battery/SD card is really nice, but I wish it had a way to use a tripod with it.

Disappointed it doesn't have a tripod mount. Disappointed even more that it's made in Vietnam. I fought 4 years there and I wouldn't buy water from them if I was dying of thirst. Disappointed Amazon dropped the ball on this one. They needed the manufacturer to be listed. The case doesn't fit flush with the bottom or even attach to the camera anywhere. The snaps on the leather case come undone easily. If you should accidentally flip the camera upside down you might lose the camera. Requesting my money back. Two thumbs down.
