Amazing, transforms the camcorder and fits like a glove!

I have no idea what there is to Complain about this hood. It fits on the front of my Sony AX53, with a 58mm UV Filter screwed on the front of the Hood, with peace of mind the expensive Ziess lens assembly is well protected from dust or airborne dirt. I recommend the for the Sony AX53 100%!

When you use this for the sony ax53 the stabilisation means it catches the edges of the circles making this thing useless unless your camera in on a tripod not moving

This product works as intended and looks like it should have been a part of the camera originally. Place a small amount of blue loctite on the threads, align the hood, and you’re good to go. Very satisfied with this purchase.

J'ai dû retourner l'article. Je possède un caméscope Sony FDR AX53. Le pas de vis du P.soleil 55 mm correspond au pas de vis du caméscope, mais l'écartement du filetage, peut-être pas assez fin, fait qu'on ne le visse même pas d'un tour. Donc, le P Soleil ne vas pas jusqu'au fond de l'objectif. Quand on filme, on voit apparaitre aux angles, les traces noires du p soleil surtout quand on bouge le caméscope. J'ai un P.soleil métal 55mm mais pas 16/9 . Je le visse très facilement de 1,3/4 de tours.
