Amazing shave soap! Great scent! Great Lather! Definitely worth every penny!

Smells good. Doesn't foam up great but it doesn't leave a heavy residue like others. Small amount of soap for the price.

First let me acknowledge that this is my upgrade from the soap that came with my Van Der Hagen® Luxury Shaving Set. That kit was a great start for deciding whether or not I wanted to get into this as upping my shaving game from shaving creams and gels that come from a can. It was good enough to make me decide that this was the path that was worth the added effort. However, I also knew that it wasn't the end all/be all of this... So, I decided to make some improvements by upgrading the individual items from that kit. This soap was one of those things. Pros: Nice and rich lather, which makes my razor glide over my skin and also softens the skin on my face. Also, another nice thing is that unlike those cans of shaving creams and gels... This doesn't gum up and clog up those razors that have enough blades to rival a Swiss army knife. Con: Price vs size. Now, in comparison to the soap that came with my "starter kit"... This is somewhere between 1/2 and 2/3 the size of that soap. I feel this is a better soap and I think it's worth the price difference, but only you can decide if it works out to be the same for you.

Performance: Takes some work to get a lather. Not especially thick, rich or slick. An okay shave, with good after shave feel. I'd say...its decent but nothing special. Scent: Very nice. Masculine but not overly spicy or cologne-like. Probably the strong suit of this soap. Does not linger for more than a few minutes after a shave, though. This soap is good, but will struggle to make it into my shaving soap/cream rotation.

This shave soap has a light pleasant fresh scent. It lathers easily and makes a nice and smooth cream. It washes off easily and leaves my face fresh and clean. I’m using a Simpsons synthetic chubby brush. I would highly recommend this shaving soap. If loooking for recommendations on the best shaving razors and blades, I would recommend Feather for both shaving razors and blades. Everyone has their opinion on what’s best. I have tried several brands of razors, blades, and soaps over the last few years, and this combination is my favorite.

Top-Rasierseife. Ich benutze sie seit einigen Monaten und bin rundherum zufrieden. Angenehmer Duft, und sehr gute Eigenschaften bei der Rasur. Ich nutze einen Rasierhobel. Dadurch muss ich mindestens zweimal rasieren. Einmal mit dem Strich und einmal dagegen. Das reicht bei mir aber für eine absolut gründliche Rasur. Der Schaum ist wirklich hervorragend. Für mich gibt es nichts besseres.
