Warriors: Navajo Code Talkers

Prompt arrival. Great condition. Been curious about this and impressed with story of how Navajos were in America's wars as this is their country and they are warriors. I know that Japanese made a big effort to capture one of the code talkers. I heard that they might be killed by their side rather than to allow capture.

Great book. Beautifully illustrated and a thoughtful gift for vets and those currently serving. I use as a great tool for teaching my students. You won't regret buying the book. It is sensitively presented with cultural relevance.

Excellent book!! There need to be more written about our Native Americans and what they have given up to help their little white brothers. Our Native American people are our greatest gift in this country!!!!

I cpuld put a face to the men who risk there lifes for freedom. There more than just a name in a history book.
