You need.
This is my hero. Doesn’t work well on carpet or with really small spiders but I think that’s expected. Spring in Texas means spiders and bugs everywhere even with regular pest control treatments. I will own one of these forever. Also fun to use lol. I love it and if you know someone who hates bugs, it’s a great gift. I personally refuse to smush spiders b/c if they are pregnant, thousands of baby spiders will go all over the place. This helps you catch them without smushing them. Literally life changing product idk what I’d do without it.

Super useful and effective - saved me and a spider just now!
this is a fantastic tool! I admire the job spiders do in nature, but I don't love having one in the house ! this thing saved me tonite when I got home, there was a large wolf spider on the floor of my kitchen. GULP! I manned up and got this out and caught her 123 easy peasy and it kept her contained til we were safely outside. at first I thought she fell out bc I didn't see her in there, but when I tapped the bristles on the brick walkway, Ms. 8 legs walked out unscathed and went on her way. WIN WIN for us both as if I had to catch her manually and release I might have resorted to the vacuum which would be sad for Ms spider and nature as a whole. Bravo on this great invention!

Almost Perfect
Well, I kinda ordered this on a joking whim after moving back into my place after renovating and not liking bugs and having a frog and a cricket that I couldn’t get back outside. Within the first few days I ended up using it twice in 12 hours for a centipede and a spider with relative ease. I’m on the taller side, so I think I could use a bit of a longer stick, so having a size option would be a nice upgrade. I mean, who doesn’t love the idea about the bugs being farther away from you. . . Got the bright pink to make it even more ridiculous and I kinda love it. I definitely won’t loose it. Works best on the slower not so big bugs. Had a marathon speed running spider I chased around the bathroom for 15 minutes that I would almost get and then it would escape. Possibly some smaller grabbers so you don’t lose the bug when it’s closer to the ground and the grabbers are all spread out. Could possibly use a little stronger of the grabber parts to ensure that the bigger heavier bugs are secure in the grabber. I had a small tarantula that seemed like it was the biggest thing it could pick up. Last thing you want is an angry bug coming after you when you aren’t successful in getting it. Then it would be chasing you! TLDR: bought on a whim, decently happy with it, mostly serves its purpose. Could be amazing with a geles updates or upgrade options. Still happy I have it, it’s a conversation starter for sure!

Works well!
Great for my grandson who loves bugs. He’s 6 and it’s easy for him to use. It even comes with a practice spider. Doesn’t crunch the bugs as all. My husband has one as well and insists on releasing everything he catches.

Works, but not very durable.
Worked pretty well for a couple weeks, then the bristle part popped off and I haven’t been able to get it to reattach. Probably my 5 year old handling it too roughly trying to catch moths. It was a bummer for me though, because immediately after it broke there was a more than 2 inch long wolf spider on my couch that i had to catch with a loaf pan and a piece of cardboard, and my brand new neighbors definitely woke up to me hysterically screaming “THAT’S THE BIGGEST ONE I’VE EVER SEEN OH MY GOD!” which I feel may have given them the wrong impression of me. I thought it was a young tarantula, until it JUMPED AT ME. Hopefully they saw us release the spider the next day. I haven’t burnt the house down yet because I’m renting, so I’m just sitting here living in terror. 3 stars.

Scary spiders stand no chance of escaping!
So I know that spiders are generally good, in that they eat other bugs. But they are also terrifying because they are FAST and HIDE BEHIND THINGS, just waiting to attack! Trying to remove them with a cup and piece of paper is perilous at best (what if it GETS OUT and gets on my hand?? I would flail in terror and then who knows where it would land?). So, to defend myself from these miniature terrors, I bought this. I knew my time had come when my cats were staring at the floor. It was my nemesis, a spider. I tore the catcher out of the packaging and - with only a little shrieking - successfully subdued the spider! It was caught in the bristles, unable to escape! And I was at a safe distance, unlike the cup method where I'd be practically touching the spider. I darted outside and released it. I told the spider he was evicted and to eat bugs outside, never inside. If it ever does venture inside aagin, I know my cat sentries would alert me to its presence and - with minimal shrieking - I could safely evict it again.

Yoinked a daddy-longlegs with this guy and they were very confused, but seemed fine! Great solution: effective, easy to use, they walked off outside.

He sacado de la casa arañas y grillos, solo me falta probarlo con alacranes, nunca encuentras uno cuando lo necesitas.

AWESOME!!!!
I LOVE IT!!!! I never have to touch a bug again or keep containers to use to awkwardly catch it. Although the hook for the wall doesn’t stay on the wall.

Disappointed
I don’t know what kinda sloth bugs all these 5 star reviews have been catching, but I tried this on 3 occasions and it never worked :( The spiders escaped everytime (common house spiders). Now I’m writing this review trying to go to bed, but surrounded by 3 rogue spiders out for revenge
